Nice. With the new steering wheel are all the features that were present from your old one plug and play?

I always think about the airbag programming/faults and wiring whenever I see steering wheel mods.......

So, seeing that the new steering wheel doesn't have an airbag, what you do with the old airbag (in order to eliminate airbag fault codes) is install it in the passenger seat, and wire it to one of the blank switches in your car.  That way when your wife is chirping on about the way you're driving...

The ones for my car at least are straight plug and play. Air bag is merely switch from old wheel to new...no programming, no nothing, no changes to factory parameters or use.

You use the existing airbag and any existing buttons in the centre section and transfer it to the new wheel.  The new wheel is just the outer rim.

The trim bits and airbag swap over to the new wheel. Plug and play.

Scored a free car wash at Dundas/neyagawa Petro station. Promotion expires today, I just found out myself.

Got the Mini back from the shop. Sounds much better, still not perfect. 5 mins on Saturday and it will be sorted.

Took the long way home I was so happy to drive the Mini after the depressing Hyundai.
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Dropped off the LS 430 for a timing belt / water pump change. They recommend 8 years / 144,000km. It's an '04, and the first belt was done in 2012 at 122k, and we're now in 2019 at 274k. While it's in I'm having the cam/crank seals done, as well as the coolant temp sensor, idlers and tensioner.

Sprayed most of the dirt, salt, grunge off it. Not bothering to do a proper wash as it will be raining tomorrow.
