Get one off a Junkyard 8th gen SI, and give it to your Indy.  Start calling around to all the wreckers in town.

Got a used pedal assembly and installed it this evening. Easy peasy.

My car is bundled up against the cold. The upper grill is sealed with pipe insulation, while the lower grill is covered by corrugated plastic sheeting. It really makes a difference in keeping the engine warm on cold winter days.

Dumb me finally took the insurance off the jag. Month and a half of wasted coverage. Better late than never I guess. It's the one time that paying once a year makes it trickier.

Oh and in this snow, got to do some 4 wheel drifts to make my kid laugh on the way to hockey this morning in the wrangler
i used to be addicted to soap, but i'm clean now

I borrowed an F-150 from one of our CT store dealers to use for a photoshoot next week and had to get it cleaned up. So I went to this drive-thru 'auto spa' thing up the street. Massive brand new building; huge drive-thru wash tunnel, 4 lanes of 'detailing conveyors, and a 3 or 4 quick lube bays. Super efficient setup too, spotlessly clean and very well organized.

Interior in the truck was very dirty and these guys (had 4 of them on it) had it really clean in <10 minutes.

Cost for a wash, quick exterior detail (they wiped the rims, and sprayed the truck with some detail spray) and interior clean-up was $40. Not sure how they cover the overhead in this place, but whatever...

That is cheap. Might serve in a pinch, but to me cleaning and detailing the car is more a labour of love. Cleaning the car cleans your soul.

Today I detailed the Mini and kept it inside the garage. Not going anywhere today.
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

I agree, I don't think I'd ever use it on my own vehicles....but it feels like -24 outside right now, no way I am freezing my butt off to clean a company vehicle. This was a perfect solution.

Yes, but the question is did they take CT money?  ;) :P ;D

:rofl2: That was a project I was on years ago.....It was actually drivable, though not the easiest or most comfortable. The chassis is still in the shop with a good 6.0L Vortec and 4L80E trans  ;D

You can't believe the price of in and out washes in the US..not far from Detroit.

$12 at a cheap, single conveyor...

About $25 at a nice place.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Including interior? It think just the wash I got here was $13, the rest of the cost was the 'quick detail' and interior clean.

Yes! Interior too!

There's one place where you can get unlimited full service wash (in and out) for like $40 a month!

Speaking floor mats I cleaned all the cow shite out of the ones in the Tercel. My garage now smells somewhat less like an alfalfa farm. ;D

Used all 205 horses under the bonnet to overtake 6 cars + a tractor trailer carrying farm equipment.

Perhaps a bit sketchy at first. Rural road two lane with no shoulder, oncoming traffic about 800m ahead and closing, wasn't sure how many cars were in front of me before the slow load. 3rd gear, foot down, 1...2...3....4...5...6.....*focused on closing gap*....."yup I've got it".... tractor trailer.....back in.  :winner: #allezlesbleus
ø cons: Peugeot 308: Yamaha R3 [/URL]

So, does that mean you're keeping the peach intact and as is?   :D

Maybe I need to spend some time with it this weekend to help make the call.
