There is something incredibly nerdy and awesome about installing good winter tires on a 4x4. Most people don't bother to, so I find that the 4x4's that have them really stand out in winter performance.I'm hoping we get a HUGE dump at some point this winter. 4x4 Tundra with Blizzaks? I'm Golden!
Quote from: carcrazy on November 15, 2018, 10:56:15 pmI went "cheap" with aftermarket parts this time as the OEM prices were crazy expensive even discounted. OEM exhaust parts can be HELLA pricey. The kid had a leak on the Forester's exhaust. Took it to the dealer, they quoted her $2700 in parts plus labour, so over $3K. LOL!! I took her to my indie exhaust shop and $80 later, done. Was a good lesson for her.

Oh yea, I remember posting some links for these parts. Glad you got it done.As far as the leak? Before putting on the new clamp, liberally apply some exhaust sealer paste. Will seal it up perfectly.
Got the studded winters installed on the Jeep right before snowstorm, so far, these are the best winters Ive ever experiencedSent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk

I’m going to pretend I had some little influence on your decision. The Yukon’s only got a few hundred km on its new Hakkas - all of it on bare pavement. Woke up to a blanket of fresh snow this morning, so will have to take it out for a proper test.
I think the last time I change an exhaust was back in early '90's Stock exhaust are pretty good now

Snow on top of ice and it was rock-bloody-solid. I forgot how good studded tires are.

Not a grain of sand, nothing. WTF? At 10:30 last night I understood, but by the morning? Ugh.

I would assume the specialized exhaust shops would have it and all I need to do is ask them to use it.

Just ordered 350mm cross-drilled, slotted, coated rotors for the front of the Cayenne, $170 taxes in total shipped to my door. Maxbrakes is pretty decent to deal with so far, my back brakes still look good.
