but yeah... it was a trade. to another branded dealer and they called us to put a value on it... when we did, they asked if we wanted it for that. sure thing!
we normally wouldn't let it go out, but that day my wife's renegade was sitting in the shop, so I needed to take something home... and being that we don't let test pilots take this beast out, it was starting to get a bit of rust on the rotors, so my used manager thought it could use a little "cleaning". when I did my usual of, "what needs a ride?" I thought he was joking when he said the hellcat... turns out, nope. it needed a ride, he was a bit scared of it, and I was the only employee he trusted to drive it.
it was the most boring hellcat drive ever... in the evening, I held off the throttle figuring I'd hit it harder in the morning... accidents in the morning, so stop and go traffic. yippee! got 13l/100 at least for the average... even in that little time with it, it is quite a machine. that engine sure doesn't need much input to want to go for a run.
