Meh, free company vehicle... V8, V6, 4cyl, 3cyl... it's free  :P
He should be paying about 50 cents a km for personal use on company truck
My brother works for Crosslinks, new subway in Toronto , they want to give him a truck but charge him 50 cents km for personal use

He did not like the numbers so he uses is own car and chargers them mileage if he uses it to get around for Crosslinks

Also Vman start a new thread

Changed the oil on the TSX. Using Amsoil for the first time. I was going to put the MX-5 away for the winter, but our forecast next week is actually nice. Sure would be nice because we have had a horrible Sept and so far Oct.
Enjoying the Alberta advantage

New Truck. Replacing the Sierra. Can’t believe I’m going ford but it was a business decision.

Getting it Monday

Nice !

What!!!???    I mean, you're right...but still...I didn't think you had it in you!  :stick:

That's a good looking truck by the way. I'm curious to hear how it compares to the older GM.

Me too. I'm actually excited to see how it stacks up. It should be interesting because this is more of a base truck compared to my 2009 mid-level GMC but the features are pretty similar now all this time later.

I'll try and do a little comparison.

You have kids?  They'll love the back seat.  Hang a disco ball and they can have a dance party back there.  You can barely fart in a Chevy let alone boogie down to Stayin' Alive.

I didn't know they put the non turbo V6 in the S/Crews...also never looked.

It is show and shine ,  ;D
I will wait for the first comment on the crappy seat or the first picture  :rofl2:
If I got a company truck , even if it was a Ford , I would drive it  :P

Going to put the winter tires on the car today. Heading down to the mountains (Lake Placid area) and the forecast says chances of snow and lows below freezing. Thinking my summer tires that are on their last season wouldn't do so great under those conditions so playing it smart and safe.

Yep and after looking at the summers once removed it was an even smarter idea than I thought. Don't think they will be going back on next year.

Gave the Escalade a good wash and wax to get it ready for winter battle.....Waxed the rim, door jams, etc. It goes in for an oil spray (Rust Check this time) on Friday.

Took the Alfa into a Porsche shop to fix the scratch and dent. Worried. Will see the results in a few days.
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Submitted it to BaT.  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

I set an insanely high reserve, if a special snowflake wants it, they can have it.

It is just submitted to the BaT team and not up for auction yet, so if any of you want first bids on the Alfa, now is the time to speak...not that I expect any of you to do so!

They'll probably balk at your reserve and reject it then. They want to sell cars.

Why are you considering selling the Alfa?  I thought you loved that car?

Liking it a lot.

Why?

Probably because it's a brand new truck just off the lot, so all the body mounts are still solid, the seat is still nice and firm and not all broken down, suspension and steering components are all tight, etc.  Obviously getting out of a 200 000km truck and getting into a brand new truck will seem like a world of difference, even if the 200 000km truck is the nicer truck.

How do they know what it is worth? How much is a clean E30 M3 or a 190E worth? This is like a little lesser cousin to those touring car giants, and is much more rare.

Meh, we shall see what they say.

I am considering selling it because I am broke and unemployed and have not found work...AND have a thesis to finish. Also, may be getting divorced soon. Life is not good.
