Well, after almost five years and 100k I finally put a front plate on the Cayenne.  Lynn got snagged by an unmarked mustang, $105 fine, experiment over.
I couldn't go out for more than 10 minutes in the 911 without one, so it was a good run
So you guys have Mustangs as undercover?

Around here, I only have to worry about Dodges...

And I will never understand your gripe with front plates... I think they are just fine.

Really...maybe the euro style plate, but domestic plates ruin the front end of any vehicle.
Lighten up Francis.....

When I was in Alberta and Saskatchewan, I saw many, many vehicles that had a mount for a plate, but no plate.  Just a black square marring the front of the vehicle.  Honestly, they would have looked better with a plate on them, than just the holder with nothing on it.

That I don't get....I've pulled off the front plate holder off my old 93 K1500, my Cherokee and Mustang. They look terrible with a plate, 100X worse without a plate but a holder.

NS does not require front plates but I'm always surprised at the amout of cars from there that still have a front mount in place, and some other plate bolted on.  I saw a Boxster there a few weeks ago with the NS flag as its front plate.  :P

Hamilton Police have some very interesting machines.  There's a blue Saturn Outlook I've seen pull over a few folks.  And a generation-or-so-old Caravan.

I have seen Oz police with deceptive vehicles too - Transit vans, Hilux trucks, VW Golf, Maxda CX3...great for blending in as they are everywhere

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Did the inner & outer front sway bar bushings on the 951. The bushings arrived earlier this week from Rock Auto, so I decided to do them today. The passenger side inner bushing was completely rotted out & not in place anymore. It's near the power steering pump & they're known to leak on the bushing & rot them out. Not an overly hard job to do, just a pain crawling underneath the car on the driveway. Here's a few pics.

Only in certain situations, like going up my driveway, or turning into a parking spot while coming to a stop. Just started about 2 weeks ago.

Put a little over 1200 km on the truck today. Mostly out in the boonies.  Found a couple of good kayaking launching spots though.

That was four trips, so about 1 1/2hr drive each way.  There's virtually no traffic where I drive and that makes a big difference.  I actually enjoy it.  The worst part of my drive is on the mornings I have to drive into the city.

Had a productive morning. Fixed a sticky e-brake mechanism on the DTS, changed some filters, and then finally polished the stains off of the rims. Since I had the tools out I also did an oil change in the Escalade.

Had some help with the cabin filter:
