No idea. I just requested something that means I won't die of exhaust asphyxiation. Anything else is a bonus.

Two Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus installed today, replacing the rear tires.  I'll buy two for the front next spring.

Hopefully they don't discontinue those. :stick:   :P

I hope not!  I could only afford two right now.

  I bought a set for the GS350 back in the spring and really impressed so far.  Much better match for the car than the OEM Michelins.  Be interested in your impressions.

Yea, I like them too on a luxury car. Very quiet.

And IQ loves the new sportier Pirelli put on her IS this spring. Says they're her favorite tires she's had thus far. She says it's the best balance yet of sport (grippy in spirited driving) and luxury (very quiet, nice ride).

I do note on both sets wet weather performance could be a bit better. Not dangerous or anything like that...they seem to break loose a bit sooner with aggressive throttle.

Also, the Tireracks testing mirrors our real world findings...so good on them for what seems like accurate testing.

Battery is dying on the Saab. Wont start without a jump. Bought a new Motomaster Eliminator. Old one lasted 5 years, happy with that for what I paid.
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Those are terrible, I had to replace those each year on my 9-5. From Walmart or Coscto are much better

Didn't really do it today, earlier this week got the following done on the 951:

- new tires (Hankook RS-4's) installed on the front wheels & moved the tires off the front wheels onto the rear's (Bridgestone RE-11's)
- tailpipe welded on (was only clamped on)
- brakes inspected (see if they're okay for track duty)
- brake fluid bled & new fluid installed

While the car was on the hoist my mechanic found the sway bar bushings were shot, so he ordered some for me to do on my own, ended up being the wrong ones and his suppliers don't carry the correct ones   So I've ordered them thru RockAuto, was hoping they'd arrive by today so I could do them this weekend, but it looks like it'll be next week sometime. Looks like it'll be about a 45min job at the most on the driveway  ;D

Redlined the living crap out of my RX-8 on S2S. Was pretty fun zipping around, definitely a much more pleasant experience than driving that BMW X3 on S2S last year.

Well, after almost five years and 100k I finally put a front plate on the Cayenne.  Lynn got snagged by an unmarked mustang, $105 fine, experiment over.
I couldn't go out for more than 10 minutes in the 911 without one, so it was a good run

Car still looks amazing Gurgie!  :o

My jug of Car-Pro Iron-X arrived today.  See how well that works removing the iron specs from the GS350.  FWC!  >:(.  Looks great when it's clean but I'll never buy another, well, unless the price is right.  ;D

I was going to remove the front plate from the Z3M bit it already has one mounted so I'd have to find plugs for the holes.  Looks worse with the plate removed with the holes.

You can get seasonal plates here in NB now but it costs extra and only good from April to October.  I had that for the S2000 but only because it never had a front plate mounted.

Shrugs, you can only see the specs when you're right up close.  The rest of the time it looks clean.  I love white cars!  But I got them after having two black cars so what do I know.

So you guys have Mustangs as undercover?

Around here, I only have to worry about Dodges...

And I will never understand your gripe with front plates... I think they are just fine.
