Very cool!
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

sounded fantastic too, real raspy
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Vacuumed the interieur, cleaned the glass from all the insects, and finally affixed the French Crit'air and German Umwelt emissions stickers (category 1 and 4, respectively)

How did all of your insects get covered with glass?

Dammit meant it the other way around......insects off the glass. :-X . The autobahn and autoroutes necessitate a lot of touching up even after a car wash.

Long day.

Finally got around to washing it today. Yeah, I hadn’t washed it since I posted those nasty pics back on May 23. Hey, I was busy, out of town, it was going to rain...  :P

And, now that’s it’s clean, I’m super happy with the ghetto paint repair job I did. From ten feet you’d never notice unless you were looking for it. Heck, if the light hits it right, sometimes I can’t even see it when I’m looking for it.

thanks for the pics chaos...

apparently good work on the fix heli!

my thing was actually paying for the jag... so I guess it's officially mine now! of course, today just happened to be the day a co-worker is giving me a basketball net, so I have to borrow a truck to take it home... but still officially mine, even though I won't drive it home!

i'll get a show and shine up when I can (and if I can manage to get pictures up!)
i used to be addicted to soap, but i'm clean now

Yes, but with the blacked out look they probably think you're just dealing stuff other than cars :)
I love it when a plan comes together.

it kind of tells you what kind of shape its in... one guy thought it was a 2015... another a 2013...

I don't really want to go telling everyone what it cost me... but the last one I told him, "man, this thing is less money than your elantra was" now I have him thinking.

as for the dealing "other stuff".... for sure... but that is more my neighbours! they can't figure me out.

Put new plugs in the LR4. Well one bank anyway. Pretty tight fit in the bay with that wide V8. Took a lot of imagination and tool creation to get her done. Good thing the plugs are Irdium because that is a job I would only want to do every 160 k kms.

My daughter stuck a Hello Kitty in the window of my Pilot....one of those plush toys with a suction cup.  In the window where the 3rd row is.  That's right, kick me when I'm down

I've found almost all repair and service tasks on the Highlander very DIY friendly, but the plugs are due, and holy hell, that looks like a major PITA.  The rear bank is very hard to access, pretty much requiring the removal of the intake manifold.  Ugh.

Installed a Superchips F5 Flashpaq into the JK. Mainly got it for the speedometer calibration capability as the tires on it are 2" bigger. The fact that the throttle pedal response is improved and it gives more power, I haven't really felt anything put the more responsive pedal is fantastic. Will update in a week or so with mileage and thoughts.
