I bought one brand new, 1974 GT in the medium brown (looks to be the same colour) from Weitzes Motors way back when they were on Yonge Street. It was a great car, but couldn't handle Toronto winter salt. The top of the front fenders were rusting out after only two years. There isa ledge that runs along the top of the wheel well that collects salt and crap, and that resulted in the fenders bubbling from the inside very quickly. Mind you, back then I parked at work in a heated underground parking garage, which we all know now, is the kiss of death with salt buildup and subsequent melting.
My first brand new car was a 1972 Corolla 4 speed Coupe in persimmon (burnt orange colour) with the OHV 1.6L in it. Loved that car. I had Hooker headers installed on that car. Sounded like a buzz saw.

I forget what I owned after the Celica, (it may have been the Sunbeam Tiger i bought used from Bert Weitzes), but somewhere along the line I bought a demo 1977 (76?) 5 speed Corolla Liftback from Weitzes Motors, but it was nowhere near as fun as the Corolla Coupe or Celica GT.
