Did an oil change on Dad's Corolla. FML, the dealer has left his car in a shambles. The plastic engine cover was broken, and just left sitting on top of the engine. The drain bolt was torqued to well over 100lbs and took some serious work to undo. The metal retainer for the oil filter housing was all bent, luckily I was able to bend it to the proper spot without breaking it.
Since I was on a roll I did an oil change on the Miata. Fantastically, the special wrench for the Corolla fits the spin on filter on the Miata, greatly simplifying removing the well-hidden filter on the Mazda. I didn't put the car up, but siphoned the oil out through the dipstick tube.
