Every time I drive down Maitland, I look to see if either your or Bella's vehicle is home.

On my 3rd set of wipers on the Entourage,  Latest were Motormaster Precise fit.  They cleared well, but were a bit noisy, and only lasted 1 year, freezing rain kind of killed them.  I bought the Michelin ones at Costco before for another vehicle, they were ok.  I like the Bosch Icon ones.  But for some reason, they didn't clear as well when I get them on the Entourage 2 years ago.  So this time I am trying Reflex Platinum.  I like how ice can building in between the blades.

Volvo dealer told me I should change my blades once a season.  Yeah, like that's ever gonna happen...

^^^

There are also 90 degree jobbies as well if that what the broken was.  Home Depot has a whole section of odd ball brass fitting
Didn't know that.

Anyway, car is fixed and back on the road. I ordered another one just in case the other hose joint quits on me.

Plan for spring break:

Change the two drive belts

Learn to hand wash the car

Install the AutoExe steering wheel when it gets here

Install the rear mud guards

Install the OEM rear fog light

Install the floor lights

Still need a pressure washer.  If you don't have one I recommend this:

https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.k1710-cube-electric-pressure-washer.1001046210.html

Walking thru Home Depot last summer and they had a pile of these at the door for $99.00   Perfect for cars @ only 1700 psi.

You need a pressure washer to hand wash a car?  Maybe more in a commercial scenario.

The thought of pressure washing my car makes me cringe. Maybe the underside once in the spring to get rid of the salt, that's it though.

You think dealerships of any brand use hose pressure.  We are not talking about peeling paint off deck boards here.  :rofl2:

Low psi wand with wide coverage.  Uses way less water and gets rid of the soap fast.  Plus hose pressure is useless on cloth convertible tops.

IMO, it's harsher on the paint than necessary and wears down protection like wax/sealant quicker.  Now, if your garden hose pressure is crap like within the Toronto city limits, then yeah, maybe. Where I am the garden hose has plenty of pressure. The last thing I want to be doing is forcing water into cracks/seams, under gaskets, etc. Worse yet, if you've got a stone chip pressure washer pressure can get under the paint and lift it.
Have I done it? Sure, press cars, the CT Jeep after off-roading, absolutely. But I have yet to take a pressure washer to a vehicle that I own and care about.

For fabric tops, I use a soft bristle brush and car wash soap suds (just the suds part), then rinse with the hose. Occasionally I'll use the proper 2 or 3 stage cloth top treatments, the name escapes me right now but it's usually black bottles with purple logos.

Interestingly, all of the videos I have seen online doesn't involve a pressure washer.

Seems like an overkill, especially for that amount of money. I can see how it would be feasible for commercial car washes, but I think a garden hose should be enough for me.

Speaking of which, I still need to get a hose and a tip.

Pressure washer with foam gun/foam cannon attachment...

It's the way to go! Doesn't harm paint, coatings, etc And with a quality soap, creates a barrier between wash mit and paint.

If you truly love your paint, there's no better way.

According to who?  Same lame marketing? Do whatever makes you happy.  On a car I care about I wouldn't use a pressure washer.  I feel the garden hose has more control as well.
