I like the Charger, but he needs new wheels.

Banff has no snow in the town.  But, the pic is from the summer.  I saw the cars in the back of the shop, asked about them, the service writer directed me to their FB page to view pics.

No fair, it's snowed 4 times this week, about 15 cm total.

That's a good price.   What company.

And ya, most comp claim co-pays are $500 these merry days so most are done out of pocket.  Unless of course the vehicle has a defroster system embedded in it.  :o

Year one in 2007 Camry my wife was following a dump truck and a piece of whatever came off the back of it and cracked the glass.  I warned her before about following dump trucks, but she is a lousy passer.  So I of course I just let it grow and in year 6 it got pretty pitted as well so I paid $300 or so for a new one and then 3 months later the car hit a deer and it was replaced again under insurance.  ::) :P

It was a small company called MRM Auto Glass
http://www.mrmautoglass.ca/about-auto-glass-repair-newmarket
I called Speedy and they quoted $620, so I went with these guys instead.
It was all done in an hour and a half, and now I don't have to drive with a windshield full of little specks anymore.   :)

I've always loved RaceEng. shift knobs...they are beautifully engineered and impeccably machined. They are very heavy (500 grams). And the weighed base fits many different knobs....so you can order different knobs to your hearts content.

Despite the beautiful nature of these...they are super expensive. So I've been waiting for a sale and they had a big one on Black Friday, so I picked up one for IQ. While she was sleeping, I put it on her car. She already has a short throw shifter..and now she's got a top shelf shifter knob to match! No biggie if she doesn't like the style...I can just get another cover!

Seriously...if you want a beautiful, functional shifter for your car...this is the one!

This is the one I got  http://www.raceseng.com/sphereology-shift-knob-lexus-5-speed-manual

Oh...for sure one is available.

Just need to know the thread...unless you have some reverse lockout thing...that might be an issue.

You have a 3, no? I see 5 and 6 speed models for the 3.

It took a month*, but I finally got my KYB rear shocks for the F150.  I was surprised to see a "Made in Japan" sticker on the shock.

*The KYBs I ordered from Amazon for the front came within a couple of days.  I ordered KYBs for the rear at the same time, but I kept on getting delayed shipping notices.  I finally got tired of the waiting, cancelled the order, and ordered the rear KYBs from Rock Auto.

Very nice. It costs about the same as a TWM shift knob, and the only reason I haven't got one is because you can't get a TWM climate insensitive shift knob with the shift pattern imprinted on it. I may grab one of these.

It's really a beautifully made piece.

Can't imagine anyone would be disappointed with one of these.

Washed my mother's A3. So dirty......."so that's the white it's supposed to look like......"

Then tried out Launch Control on it  :drv2: . The conclusion is that it's a cool party trick, but with just 170PS on tap it's not hugely exciting. But fun for kicks and giggles, and laying a bit of rubber on the pavement.

I don't get the dash, it shows 4 C?  (doesn't that mean it's 4 Celsius outside?), then it shows MPH as the main unit of speed (which is for the USA), then the text above is in French.  Why not just leave it in English if your in the USA?  Does she prefer Metric?

She must prefer a mis-mosh of French, English, metric, standard....like her son? :)
