Most scissor jacks require about 38,000 turns to move 1cm upward, so I could see using one to do a winter changeover time consuming.

It could have been worse. There were a bunch of chromed ones last I looked.

Upgraded the winter look from "basic" to "ratchet". My daughter picked up some hubcaps for me. She didn't like the black steelie look apparently. These Walmart specials were $45 for four. We'll see if they last the winter.
