Yeah, but at the moment there isn't anything my wife would rather drive.  I feel like the Outback is a long-term vehicle for us, I actually quite like it myself.  So if she wants an Ascent in a year or two, I'll sell my 3.

My wife was actually raving about a vehicle she parked beside yesterdAY...."It was like an SUV but with sliding doors!".  Turns out it was a Mazda5.  She is nothing if not practical.  It's a bit of a dated design for us to be looking at these days, I'd rather buy something a little more modern with safety gadgets.

Well it's somebody else that did something. A girl side swipe my van while I was in timmies with her truck. Side door is all scratched.  Took her into and then drove home and wiped it off with a towel.  There's a scratch on the door but told her to forget about it as it's an old van and I don't really care for paper work.   Looking  at her license turns out she's from back home...... talk about coincidence

Sucks, but sometimes it's best just to forget about it and not go through all the hassle.

Tried to work on the brakes today. Could not get the drums off. A lot of hammer banging got them off the hub but I think they are hanging up on the shoes.

The Pleasurizer shocks still look in decent shape but very old.

Changed the engine oil in the Tundra. Only at 145k on the 10 year old truck.

I can't even find the adjuster wheel on the front brakes (found the hole but seems to nothing in there  ??? ). The brake ones have been sprayed and will hopefully move. Can't get much traction on pushing it.

Put some heat to it

I've also had some success giving rusted bits a few shots with an air hammer to loosen things.

Tucked the Miata away for the winter. :'( Washed it, changed the oil, filled the tank, added fuel stabilizer, pumped up the tires to max PSI, chocked the wheels and released the park brake and put the Battery Tender on.

Saw that, looking forward to one last nice fall drive with the SLK next weekend, and then I'll do everything Jamie did.

I do think Jamie is out West though....probably snow on the ground now  ::)

It has snowed, but no snow has stayed, yet. Some -5C mornings last week. Today was nice, +17C. Perfect day to get it all done. SO looking forward to next spring. That car is such a blast to drive.
