Looks like an NA spec MGB to me.   Those Smiths gauges and 3 wipers.    Nice easy car to work on.  Simplicity is its own reward.

Yep, looks like a 74/75-ish MGB to me! Nice, can't wait for the S&S.

I LOVE the three wiper cars!

Follow up on van: Well, as I was going upstairs just now I see the familiar roofline of my Beastie parked in the driveway. Look outside, Yup, it's there.

In phone my mechanic and he said they delivered it about an hour ago, knocked but maybe I was in bathroom etc. I asked what i owed him and he said his guy opened the foor and.....it opened. So they cleaned up around the latch and greased it and checked the adjustment and all looks fine. Cost? $0

I can live with that. ;D

Changed oil in the Sonic, just over 9,000 km. Black!

Checked Fusion, 7500 km, oil still looks almost new. Clear and no blackness.  Hmmm..should I change it anyway?

Checked the F150. Last oil change was in August.  Says 38% life left.  Less than 4,000 km... :P Hmmm...think I'll use the free one I got for "selling" my parents a new Edge.

Technically a cheat post since I don't get the car until Saturday, but I wasn't sure what I was going to do about the lack of heated mirrors on the incoming Mazda 3.

...so I decided I'll use a 2:1 ratio of isopropyl alcohol to spray on the side mirrors (and other glass - those I can scrape), but I went on ebay and got this for a streak-free finish:

Drove the POS truck today. Hadn't had it out for awhile. Trying to keep the road salt from destroying it.
Picked up a 350 square foot load of oak hardwood flooring with it.
As we were driving back from the store my wife joked that the cargo was worth more than the truck. :-[
Probably doubled it's value. ;D

If I didn't have a 911, I'd have a 951.   Love those cars.
