Vacuumed the seats and floor from the dirt from riding DH MTB last weekend, conditioned the leather surfaces, cleaned the glass :)

My dad went from I think Kumhos to Toyos on his Tucson and the difference is unbelievable. The car got a lot quieter due to Toyo's softer compound and likely better pattern. I think you'll love them on your LS.

I had Toyo Versado's on my TSX and dad had them on his Odyssey, they were absolute trash in the wet. TC kicked in early everytime. They did have a very good treadlife though.

I'm doubtful you had the Noirs on your car, as it's a newer luxury car tire and would be I'll suited to your spotty TSX IMO. And the Versado for minivans/SUVs is different.

Versado Noir had one of the highest wet traction scores during my research.

I guess time will tell...

CEL came on the minivan.  My wife has been driving it the past few days, and she put in gas (first time this winter I think), so I hope that's the issue.  I tightened it up, cleared the code, guess we will see.

most higher trim cars have this, even mainstream cars.  I know the GT trim of the Mazda6 does.

My father's 2013 VW Tiguan Comfortline has it as well. The hidden/secondary channels are nice (HD1, HD2 for any given frequence)

CEL came on the minivan.  My wife has been driving it the past few days, and she put in gas (first time this winter I think), so I hope that's the issue.  I tightened it up, cleared the code, guess we will see.

So the code didn't go away.  Brought it in.  Notes from my mechanic.  Vent solenoid operation erratic when checking for seal, loose pin in connector upstream of solenoid; filler neck shows leak, repair rough gasket surface, replace fuel cap ($35, crappy tire replacement one didn't work).  Now it passes.  So 2 hours to resolve that problem

Noted, the LR subframe bolt is missing! Had to order one from the dealer.  Wasn't sure of the status of the brakes, did feel a little bit of travel in the pedal.  The rotors were pitted.  They had plenty of life, so he resurfaced them.  Told him to do a complete brake service all around. Also did an oil change and air filter change while there.  $600 later

Work to plan for, Both front lower control arm bushings are tearing.  He can't seem to find any aftermarket bushings (only from the dealer), just the control arm.  Guess I will give it a try.  Dealer wants $76 for the bushings which isn't bad I guess.  It's the 3 hours of labour, and the alignment that makes the bill add up.  Really not sure how difficult this.  Will do a little research.  But the quote for that was $500 tax in.

Just spent $400 on brake parts for the Escalade :( the front are pulsing and the rears are probably coming due soon too, so I figured I'd just get all 4 corners at once.. Went with Wagner stuff; e-coated rotors and Thermo Quiet Ceramic Pads. For a few $$ more I could've gotten a PowerStop kit w/ drilled and slotted rotors, but I don't think the benefits of the fancier rotors would be much value with our usage (commuting, very occasion towing) and not worth the downsides (high crack risk, faster wear).

Drilled & slotted rotors add zero performance on the street, but they do look nice.
I just installed front and rear disc brake kits on my VW dune buggy.  The kits are made in China and have a spotty record for quality.  Unfortunately, the made in the USA and Germany kits were three times the price, so I took a gamble and went with the cheap, Chinese made kits.
First off, the bolts that hold the caliper to the caliper bolts were the wrong thread pitch.  I had to go down to my local hardware store and buy some bolts with the proper pitch.
Second, one of the rotors on the front kit was REALLY warped.
I made a short video of me spinning the rotor:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCaXEoq-3os

The place that sold me the kits is replacing the rotor, but I'm out the cost of having a machine shop press in the races and drill/press in the ARP studs.
The Chinese kit was $400, while a front disc brake kit that's made in Germany is $1700.  :o
If this vehicle was my daily driver I would have spent the extra money for the quality kit, but I didn't want to spent that much money on a vehicle that I'll probably only drive a couple of dozen times over the summer months.

Found my go-to coin car wash place in Newmarket, ON and finally got to wash my MDX.

Since it was clean, I discovered a long, wavy scratch long the side of the car.  It had to be intentional.  >:(
Fortunately, I think it is light enough to be buffed out when the weather warms up.
