Grill blew up. The radiator was leaking. And bumper will likely need some attention but it should be an easy fix for the shop. I don't think any body work will be required. We'll see.

Ouch, glad everyone is okay AD.

My own car adventures were much less eventful today.  The Corolla got a new oil filter and 4L of fresh full-synth Amsoil to go along with it.  Both of the Toyotas are now good to go for the winter.

The impact didn't feel that big but certainly would have done some really good damage to a much lower car.

Years ago my Dad was on a CN Roadcruiser MCI bus (this is what replaced passenger train service in Newfoundland) when it hit a moose.  While the driver suffered some cuts and bruises, no one else was hurt.  It was amazing how much damage the moose did to such a big vehicle.

The truck is really my wife's. I think it is a silly vehicle but she loves it. I was actually on the way to pick up some winter rims and tires for it. Went back the next day with the Dodge Caravan.

Looks like it's mostly plastic bits that got broken.  Glad you're ok!

Busy car day on Saturday.  Put winter wheels on the 3 and the CX9.  Washed and put away the summers.  Changed the oil & filter in the Miata.  Gave it a quick clean up, and covered it up for the winter.

I'm liking the used alloys I bought for winter duty for the 3.  Looks better than my old rusty black steelies, and noticeably lighter.

I wish I lived closer to the border. I still have my set of winter tires/wheels for the Mazda3 that I can't get rid of  :banghead:    :banghead:

Yikes! That musta been one hell of a deer!  :o Hit one once in my life, sent it flying like Trevor Kennard kicking a foot ball...no where near as much damage as what your truck took on!
