Rolled past 200k in Robeson County, on the A74. Snapped pic as I was stuck behind a MDX camping in the overtaking lane......

Pretty average, 20k per year.

Just hit 30k on the Mazda6 today, 2 years old this week.
It was originally a company car (Jahreswagen) and picked up used with just around 11k on the clock; then it was my mother's car, and they never drive much.

I have a penchant for rolling a lot of km on my cars (30k on my 10-month old Mazda3, incl. the drive to Montréal and back). But after living in Europe last year, I developed a disdain for driving. Factor in the new moto (11k since April).....I don't rack up distance like I used to.

21,000 kms in 7 months on the XT, hope the pace drops off or I get a company vehicle.  Oh, its only been off the Island twice, both times to Powell River and low kms each trip (less than 50).

Rate drops after the first 5,000 kms  :'(, and not all the kms are billable to the company (currently sitting about 60% business use for the year which includes the '09 for the first 3 months).  But the XT is a good drive so I have that going for me which is nice  ;D

Fusion hit the 150,000 km mark...and never been in the shop for anything major yet.  Poor man's Audi without the maintenance costs.  ;D  Still love the thing...looks sweet and goes adequately.

Changed out the 27 year old radiator in the miata yesterday. Not leaking or anything but probably on borrowed time.
A new rad is surprisingly cheap for these cars.

Probably. That's not always the case with some products though.
I needed a lower rad hose went down to parts store. They actually had the part without waiting a week to get it.
I thought that was pretty good for such an old vehicle.

Yeah, what year Fusion? My in-laws are looking to replace their 2009 (loaded, v6) soon, which means they'll offer it to me for some nominal amount. It's got low kms (100K-ish), but it's filthy, scratched and covered in small parking lot dings....Not sure I want it. Usually I recycle their old cars by cleaning them up and reselling to someone (usually a friend) who needs a reliable vehicle, so I might do that here too.

As for me....
I got the Escalade headlight fixed; 3 ballasts and $500 later!  >:( I also washed it.

Then I got the Trans Am Krown sprayed, and washed it

Firm, not sure your aware that's one of the more reliable Fusions.  Last year of the 1st gen before the refresh.  The 5 speed auto is apparently more reliable than the 6 speed introduced in 2010.  And that 3L V6 is good, just not the most fuel efficient.  I had the engine on my 08 Mazda6.  If I needed a sedan that would be a great used buy.

I've never been a big Ford guy, so I know little about it. Thanks for the info...When the time comes I'll most likely grab it, because it'll be practically free. It's black with black leather, so it looks alright. I know there's an electrical short in the driver's side sunvisor, every time you open the mirror the lights short and kills a fuse. There's also a clunk in the rear suspension, sounds like a bad shock/shock mount.
It'll probably be another few months, but if you know anyone interested let me know; I'll take care of the two issues I mentioned above.

I rinsed off the dust and smoke on the car.....carried over from the wildfires in the région  >:(

But I started using a new application on the mobile phone that turns it into a HUD for sat nav. I have a good sense of direction, but often find myself navigating to new specific stores/places even though I may know the city pretty well. Got tired of looking down at my armrest for the sat nav- it's where I stow my mobile while driving, and not having voice directions.

Tried to do a vidéo but the mounting position wasn't idea, so here is just a still shot from me trying it out tonight. What's cool, it is able to also provide voice guidance via Bluetooth thru the car speakers, even though my 3er does not support audio streaming.

I'll throw up a vidéo the next couple days.......I think I'll buy this application !

Finally a sat nav that works for me. I used to use the Nokia maps (here.com) but that lacks lane guidance. The Google Maps I have a hard time with, and it lacks Speed Limit info. This Sygic app has both :)

My wife has the  premium addition
It is pretty good , never used the heads up or video part , traffic works OK

I find the maps are easier to look at compared to Google, Apple or Wuze maps

They usually have a sale going for 70% off , about once pre month

We have used the maps in Euroland

Threw the Blizzaks onto the Altima today.  Still has plenty of winter tread after 2 winters of use (about 20k kms).  They are looking good for at least another two winters.  I'm pleasantly surprised, considering I bought the tires thinking they were quick wearing.

Changed out the 27 year old radiator in the miata yesterday. Not leaking or anything but probably on borrowed time.
A new rad is surprisingly cheap for these cars.
That's probably something I should consider in the near future for my '97.  As far as I know, it's the original radiator and hoses.  No signs of anything about to fail, but at 20 years old, it's one of the things to keep an eye on.

2011 Sport...best model.  No problems with the trans since it's not the Ford/GM cross the 3.0's have (2010 & up IIRC) - Firm you should be fine with the older one, I believe the tranny is different in it and not known to be an issue.  Don't know if it's like Porsche's IMF where it's well known, but maybe more overstated than actual, or not.

See...sexy car... :o ;D :lick:
