^ Oh that's a nice shop........with a bistro !

Food is great too!!  And they have a park out back with a gazebo where you can eat.

There are factory certified for Audi, BMW, Lexus, Porsche, Mini and ProFirst Honda certified.

They are also one of the few Lexus LFA certified places and are certified for aluminum body repairs from most manufacturers.

And they gave you a 2008 civic?    :rofl2:
Yea. I'm not impressed.

It's clean and in pristine shape...but its no ES!

How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

What? Your insurance doesn't cover car rental in Ottawa?

I went to a shop in Ottawa for a fender bender on the Focus, and they had a rental car. In Fredericton they sent us to enterprise. The body shop didn't have their own car.

Yep, Enterprise will meet you wherever you tell them to meet you.

Surprised you all have body shops having a fleet, or at least one loaner vehicle. The times my parents have had to go to collision shops, the rental is your own responsibility (z.B you arrange with Enterprise to pick you up) and the shop doesn't really handle any of it.

I'm lucky that the repair shop where I live is a short drive to work, so the owner just drives me to/picks me up from the plant. Granted, it's still annoying being on your own/not having friends or family to back you up......

It's easy money for them.  $35 a day.

I am sure they do good work.  But they aren't exactly pleasing their customers with the rentals/loaners.  I understand your choices are limited where to take it for service.  Both times I needed body work, the body shop has plenty of cars from Discount.  They just matched it up with what I brought in.  So I have a Ford Fusion as a rental, and Kia Soul for a day, then replaced with the Rondo after (for the Mazda5 when in service)

^^The DO have nice cars, and current/couple year old cars.  But they were all out.  Some I'm stuck with this.

Which is why I'll have something else from Enterprise tomorrow.

What?  I can't hear you!  lol

They should sell the 08 Civic, and replace it with the new gen one.

How is it? Any qualms about the CVT?

Yeah, I had a 2016 Pathy a couple weeks ago. Very forgettable; lots of space, and reasonably comfortable, but there's just no good reason to buy one when there are so many better SUVs out there for the same $. Pathy was noisy inside (relatively), steering dead, CVT makes it feel slow, and it looks very bland.

A co-worker bought a Pathfinder and it was significant less out the door than the Highlander or Pilot. That's why people buy them.

He's using it to occasionally tow his 18' boat despite my warnings about the CVT.

Well what does the owners manual say?  No use buying an SUV if it can't tow 2000lbs...

5000 lbs.

Part of the towing includes some steep hills to the cottage.

Should be fine but....

So what would be your top 5 for the same money  ???

In no particular order...

Highlander
Pilot
Sorrento
Touareg (maybe a stretch $ wise - too lazy to check)
