.. your BMW uses lugs? Every FGC I've had used bolts.
You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.
That makes me feel angry!

Spent 3+ hours getting the LS to factory ride height specifications. It's a tricky process. What you do in the front affects ride height in the back..And vice versa. And also kitty corner!  Lots of trial and error.

But now the car doesn't look as nice IMO. The rear rides about 10mm lower than the front from the factory. And that translates to a fender-to-do road difference of just under 1" compared to the front.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Tried to do the winter tire swap today but couldn't! I couldn't get the first wheel off.
Things I tried: kicked it, smacked the inner side with a 2x4 and lowered the car while the lug nuts were off. I wasn't ballsy enough to drive around the block with the lug nuts off...  :P

Argh. I have to go to my mechanic tomorrow to get 'em swapped. $20. I was gonna paint my calipers black too.  :'( >:(

Aluminum rims?  If so, i wonder if they are more of a pain to get off than steel?  I've been using steel rims in the winter for so long that I can't remember last time i changed an aluminum rim in the spring.  I spread a little grease on the rims before i put them on and never have a problem getting them off.

I have to paint the calipers on the S2000 as well, but not until the weather gets a lot warmer.  They look really bad considering the rest of the car still looks like new.

The Focus wheels are impossible to get off, even with steel rims. I'm going to let Costco do the swap, then soon after take the wheels off at home and put some of that anti-seize stuff stuff on it.

Anti seize brake paste IIRC. It has metal (alum or copper) dust in it. Should work around the hub just fine. I'd use aluminum based paste in case of alloy wheels.

Not sure what those are...All I know is its a PITA to line up the holes for the bolts to go in.  :P

Yes, they are alloy rims. My calipers are rusty as well.  :(

I was gonna put anti-seize paste but obviously the seizing got there first.  :P

These are quite helpful as often the "lip" on the hub is very small.

If you have non hubcentric wheels it would be quite some annoying process to do it without these pegs.

Dropped the LS off to have the bumper fixed from the monster racoon I hit.

Am NOT impressed to have a 2008 Honda Civic as my rental (was promised their ES350 loaner).

I will be going back tomorrow and getting a rental from Enterprise.  Even if it's a cheap, new car (Nissan Note?) I'll be fine...I won't be letting the repair place get any more rental money for breaking their promise.

Is this a dealership?

I've only once had a non-dealership repair place give me a rental/loaner.......it was a E32 735i which was surprisingly high-tech considering its age- almost as old as I am ! I liked it quite a bit.

Yea!  They have a fleet of loaners.  Last time I got their 2015/16 Corolla when I brought the 911 in.  This time I asked (and was promised) their ES350.  However, when I came in, the ES350 was still out on loan.  So my choices was the Civic and a couple Mazda3.  This was right before work, so I was more or less screwed...so I took the Civic.

Like I said...tomorrow I`ll have something from Enterprise instead.

No, it`s the best body place in town.  They have their own rental fleet.

Food is great too!!  And they have a park out back with a gazebo where you can eat.

There are factory certified for Audi, BMW, Lexus, Porsche, Mini and ProFirst Honda certified.

They are also one of the few Lexus LFA certified places and are certified for aluminum body repairs from most manufacturers.
