I love that RamCharger so much :)

Dent - another cool find, looks like someone took an axe to the windscreen? Looking forward to seeing the progress on this one.

It's been raining all day, so I spent a few hours in the basement preparing some new (used) Trans Am parts for install; seat belt receivers cleaned and mounting brackets painted, dashpad cleaned, rear seats steam cleaned. I've got a couple days off next week so hopefully I'll be able to get them installed and out of my basement.

I have the "Tesla grin" today.   Picked the car up yesterday, and drove 400km today with one supercharge in Barrie to top up on the way back (it is free fuel after all ...).   What a car!  The weather was miserable, but the tech in the car is so interesting and compelling, it was a fun drive.  Loved being able to drive practically any speed, and just ease into the throttle to shoot forward, this car has serious thrust!

Pretty much this, through a traffic circle this morning.  The joy of 6am driving on a Sunday.  (but my top was down, of course...)

Pulled the head off our Neon.   We had low compression in cylinder 4.

Did a leak down test seemed to point to an exhaust valve.

We pulled the head as we suspected the headgasket as well.   Turns out the head gasket is fine.

Found a broken rocker.

Pinhole I think in the oil supply line.  The oil return line was replaced with the turbo install.  Not a big deal as I'm handy with a fire extinguisher even if the lady marshall @SMP wasn't LOL.  Will drop it by the mechanic tomorrow.

It sounds a lot worse than it is. Oil dripped on the exhaust manifold and ignited. I'm thinking pinhole. Talk about hot laps. ;)

Washed it, then removed dealer decal from trunk lid, then wrapped it up and put it away until the sun comes back out.  :P

I threw a new air filter and wiper blades on the Firebird. Spent the rest of Sunday hiding from the rain.

Finally got some new rear rubber installed on the S2000 today.  Good to have the tires finally out of my garage and on the car!
