Took it in for its "20,000 km service" to the dealership. It's the first time I've been into a dealership for service in a few years, having taken the BMW to a private mechanic once it was out of warranty. I emptied my bowels in my trousers when I was told it would be more than $400 for what's essentially an oil change, tire rotation and cabin filter replacement.
Likely to be the first, and last time I have the WRX serviced at the dealership. At least I got a nice ride in the shuttle vehicle driven by a malodorous fella who crudely criticized other motorists we encountered along the way.
Anyone afraid of owning a European car due maintenance costs has nothing to fear compared to Subaru ownership it seems.
Gadzooks!
