What I didn't do with the Escape Hybrid today is use it. It's at a garage awaiting parts from back east. After all, why would Ford in Metro Vancouver, third largest populated area in Canada, stock refrigerant lines for the rear hvac unit? Lines that cost about $1000 and although they're attached to the underbody, are vulnerable to bimetal corrosion. And the hybrid system is dependent on a functioning a/c system. Nice work, Ford.
Used the loaner, first-generation V6 Highlander. 270,000km on it. Pleasant enough, leather interior is pretty worn, but seemed to be like new mechanically. Odd to not have remote locking/unlocking.
