Checked the oil, and brushed snow off the car. I walk to work now so the car sits most of the time.  :)

Changed the Oil in the CRV yesterday.  Quick, easy, clean, and painless as usual.

Drove it for the first time since Saturday. Took a while to take all of the snow off of it.  :P

started downloading some tunes onto the 28 gig hard drive on my stereo...

oh, and already have an issue with the new jeep... wind noise coming from the windshield... service writer tried telling me it's normal... um... i have been driving the same car for almost a hundred kms/day for the last 6 months... it did not sound anything like this.. nor did the previous 7 Jeeps i had.

i have no problem with their being an adjustment needed, that's what warranty is for, but to try and play it off as nothing is a surefire way to lose customers... glad i get to experience it firsthand so that i can mention it when we go over all the numbers/staff...
i used to be addicted to soap, but i'm clean now

Fixed a power steering leak with a hose clamp.  The previous clamp had corroded away.

Put a big 5 drawer dresser in the back of it ;D. Much room to spare.

Nice, I love a free (or almost) repair.

I asked the Mercedes service guy to replace the wiper blades on the Berlin taxi while it's in for service today. Then it occurred to me...given that the oil change will cost $400, I wonder what the wiper blades will be?

I get stupid coupons in the mail from my dealer.  25% off alignment, 15% off wiper installation, etc.  You buy the wipers there, install should be free!  Even Crappytire/Part Source do it for free.  One time the Mazda5 was being serviced by my regular mechanic.  I had recently bought winter wipers, but hadn't put them on yet.  When I picked it up, they were installed, no charge.  And I didn't buy the wipers from them!  They only carried Michelins, which I didn't like.  BOSCH!

I had to change the wipers (refills instead of the whole unit) at Infiniti the other day - $11 per. I was pleasantly surprised.
Waiting on the MB price for comparisons sake.

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

We had our first major storm here in Western NL overnight so today's task was to dig them all out.

Ouch.  We have snow here for a lot of months, but we rarely have a storm that will do that.  Have fun digging.

Needless to say it was good timing on buying a snow blower this year.  ;D

Finally got the rear screen washer to wash the rear screen.   Two jets which have to be a just the exact angle to spray the whole length of the wiper.   Bad design.  One jet fitted under the 3rd brake light would do the job far better.

Sorry man, but we had to send it somewhere... ;D. Oh and x2 on the snowblower.  I would have torched my old one by now... :P
