Do you out-west folks have to replace windshields  annually?

I noticed most windshields had cracks over there

Pretty much. Or live with cracks.
Still have original windshield on the 2000 Bimmer

I've replaced my windshield twice. One from a rock in Metro Vancouver, one from a rock in Alberta. A friend in Calgary just got a crack on her 3 month old CX-5.

not sure if i mentioned it... but i took a rock as well a week and a half ago... not going to bother fixing it.. one of those circle breaks... shouldn't spread... just a matter of time until i get more of those or worse... jeep + highway = new windshield... question will be if i get an original one or just aftermarket... i like my jeep logos in the corners and such...

You can get  Do-It-Yourself window repair kit for under $20.  Water could get in and help spread the joy if it freezes.

I got a rock chip on the first weekend I owned the Mazda 2. About year later I must have got one on the black edging piece that I didn't see - it spread into a nice big crack before I noticed it.  :(

I had my Altima for about 3 weeks, got a small rock in the windshield on the highway to work and by the time I got to work it had spread into a big frowny face all the way across  >:(
Lighten up Francis.....

I shall look into that dr! it's on the passenger side just outside the wiper, so as long as it doesn't go anywhere, it doesn't bother me.

this was Friday, but I forgot to mention it.... I spilled almost my whole coffee... held a travel mug by the lid, forgetting it was just a pressure lid as I put it in the cupholder.... was not a happy kid....

I used my car to accidentally run over my wind phone. Passenger door was locked while in the garage so I decided to place phone on roof top and grab it on my way in. Next day comes around and I'm apparently blind to whats on my roof and casually drive away. Well you know the rest.  :banghead:

Beef with my 10 Legacy key fob, have to press unlock twice to unlock all doors. Called dealer, no option on the 10 for one click unlock all.

Well, I waxed the Spitfire yesterday. Used 'Zymol' and was really impressed - it's good stuff.
