Not my car but I put new rear brake pads and winter wheels and tires on my girlfriend's mother's '09 Mazda 6 V6.

Summers came off, winters went on.

Looking over the summers I have a feeling that somebody has been abusing them quite frequently. Going to have a talk with the Mrs about that.   :rofl2:

Also thought I lost a wheel weight as I has some vibrations at certain speeds but it turns out my tire is looking pretty rough on the inside (camber). Thinking these summers are now toast.

Got Michelin Pilot Super Sport installed on my wife's car.  The ride is so much better than with the run-flats.  Also got the same tires installed on a second set of rims on the FR-S for daily driving and tracking in the rain.

Got them from a friend of mine (MCO driving instructor) that just opened a tire shop.  It's great to have someone who takes as much car as I would if I could do it myself  :)

Touch-less tire changer and very slick balancer.

Nice! When the OEMs wear out on the m3 and mx-5 (both going to happen soon), I'm also going to go with the Supersports for both cars.

Nice to have a good garage you can trust. :)

We decided to store the newer miata this winter. We are very happy with it now with some some mild Goodwin upgrades. It went into storage this morning.

This fall I bought a set of Jeep Wrangler Sport take-offs, 300KM on them, flashing still on the tires, no damage to the wheels, TPMS intact etc.

Today I separated four of the tires/wheels so that I can use the 2nd set of wheels for dedicated winter use.  In the process I busted my Princess Auto tire changer's bead breaker. The bead breaker is toast, it looks like wet spaghetti noodles now.

Is your tire changer similar to this?

I never knew manual tire changers existed.

That's the one I have, however I thought the bead breaker on mine looked flimsier than that !   :D
They have a motorcycle attachment, I bought the two and a No-Mar mount/de-mount bar and Mojo Blocks to do motorcycle tire changes when I want. 7+ years of use, motorcycle tires must be a bit nicer on it than car tires  ;D

On your Mustang?

I changed my front brake pads (Ferodo DS2500) which I installed in August.  Almost complete gone after 5000km, of which 1700 (or 14 hours) were tracking ;D

New pad on top, old pad on bottom

Bought a set of big beefy sway bars for the Firebird. Stock ones are cracking (strange right?) so I figure if I am going to replace I might as well upgrade.

Had a bit of bad luck this morning. We had our first snowfall yesterday/last night and it was more significant than what would expect from the season opener. I have a very long driveway (about 250'), and three cars with performance summer tires. I'm at the end of the route for my plow guy so I knew he wasn't coming anytime soon, if at all (amount of snow was on the border of him coming or not)

My first thought was to take the 3 because its tires are literally brand new, but it was parked outside and covered in various layers of ice and snow. So I decided to take the 6 instead — with pretty bare tires. The roads were clear, it was just a matter of getting onto the road. So I back out of the garage, try to turn around, and I'm promptly stuck in 4" of slush, ice, and snow. I get moving again, but I didn't want to risk further issues so I backed up as close to the garage as I could. There's a good 40' sloped portion of the driveway directly before the garage so I knew I wasn't going to be able to get into the garage.

Was within extension cord distance of the garage meaning I could get my electric impact driver to reach the car so I swapped my winter wheels on the front axle. Awesome! Now I'll just back it into the garage and swap the rears on. Except, as I back into the garage all of a sudden my exhaust sounds way louder. After I'm parked I crawl under and see part of my exhaust laying on the garage floor. Dammit.

So I worked from home, and after I finished putting on my rear winters, I temporarily "fixed" the exhaust. Hopefully this will get me to the dealership.  ;D
