Pay $45 bucks to have them fix the flat (said it was a nail), then I stop again 360 kms later to find the tire looks low again. Now it's at 11 psi!

Yeah, just pulled it off now to replace with the temporary spare. Right next to his plug is another hole. Sprayed some soapy water on the hole and got a big ass effing bubble.

And of course the car is packed to the roof, with hardly any extra room for the flat tire. And I was hoping to get an early start back home tomorrow morning, but now I guess I'll start my day waiting at yet another tire shop.

That sucks about the tire... I had the similar issue before and have been paranoid about flat tires since.

Last night, I switched out most of MDX's interior lights to LEDs. I need to do the door puddle lights and footwell lights.

Put the winter tires on. Why so early and why when the forecast is for low-twenties and sunny all week? Because that damn tire I've had plugged twice in the past week is flat again!

Not sure what is going on with it, but I'm sick of dealing with it. Will take it in at my convenience and tell them not to give it back until they're 100% sure it's good. I've got all winter to wait. In the meantime, the winter tires are due to be replaced anyway, so may as well burn through them now.

Good call, one of the first things I installed on the wifes Jeep. I've seen what JKs without look like.....not pretty at all.

took a cruise down to Ghost lake reservior.

on the way there, i got stopped at the llight, and i was at the front and i got my a$$ handed to me by a RAV4 off the line..

i mean, i didn't launch or anything, but i was enthusiastic... and RAV4 laid it down. damn.

Spent a good portion of the day on the Spitfire. The underside of the hood had layers of peeling paint and undercoating, so I embarked on the filthy job of scraping and wire brushing (with a drill) off all the old crap and spraying it with fresh rocker guard. Not exactly to concourse standards, but it looks a lot better than what was there.

did you have a shop get that for you or order it online? the only ones i was finding were quite ugly... that has a nice look to it.

seems like in the area i live, everyone that puts in extra protection in there wants it blinged out.
