Succeeded after just as many semi-failures in getting the contents of some CDs into MP3/AAC and loaded into the car. The car won't rip them itself, that has to be done elsewhere and that meant I had to make iTunes work on my PC...a program I have been avoiding for years.

IMO the best program to rip CD to mp3 is Exact Audio Copy (EAC)

http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/en/index.php/resources/download/

Just make sure you don't click on a spam link. The program is awesome though and highly regarded by many audiophiles.
Downloaded and tried it.   I am sure it does a better job than Itunes ( going from CD to MP3 or AAC) but even on my fast machine it is much slower. Perhaps because it generates WAV first and then calls LAME ?

Look at my garaged Saturn SW2 today, it seem she dropped some motor oil through her oil pan plug during winter... I would have to carefully check for any oil leak when I'm gonna start her engine later this spring.

59 Fracking screws holding the timing cover on.  Only had to drill out one of them and remove in 2 pieces.

The engine I'm presently working on is the original, going to replace the head gaskets, that's all that's wrong with it.   Removed the replacement engine a week or two ago, huge PITA, everything had to come out.

I saw them on the back of a black Mustang the other day.  Pretty neat lights.

It was too good to be true....Last week I had a shop work on both my truck and the Firebird, bill came in less than I expected so I was pretty pleased. In the Bird I had them replace the window motor, partially because I know taking the panel off to do it myself is a PITA. Girl drove the car home and it sat since then. This morning I get in, driver's door speaker is dead...I figure they neglected to plug it back in :( So now I've gotta pull the panel anyway to fix their oversight. Sometimes you just get f-ed no matter what you do.

Put new rotors/pads and caliper on the front of the GS.  Rear is next.

Ordered new floor mats, Amsoil and a hood prop holder for the IS300.
