Let me guess a white car ? :rofl2:

Yep, what a pita!
Better than black !

Just as bad imo.
The Prius was white , it was a lot easier to keep clean compared to the Black BMW

Yeah the white is better. Just bugs and rail dust to contend with. The black looks good only 2 minutes after the detail . ;D

White is harded to get clean, while black is harder to keep clean. At least that's what I'm finding.   I spent hours clay barring the raill dust off the car this spring and it's full of it again.  Even a specks on the roof ffs.  Never even notice that stuff on a black car.  Bugs are much harded to get off white.

Learned the BAS and ABS and VSC are all in good working order in the Highlander.  Haven't driven it in a quite some time, so took it to the gym tonight.  On the way there, a homeless guy on a bike suddenly veers off the sidewalk onto the street, basically RIGHT in front of me.  I was sure his life was over.  I jammed the brake pedal, the BAS took it to full braking and I swerved.  I'm not sure I could have fit a piece of paper between the guy's arm and my passenger mirror.

My HR was probably 220 as I drive to the next light.  He didn't even seem to notice he'd just about lost his life.  The road is an 80 zone, so a full on impact at that speed would, I'm pretty sure, have been the end of him.

I woke up at 5 am, for whatever reason, so I went to the car wash just after 6.  I was the first one there.

I use IronX or Sonax Fallout Cleaner for the rust specs, usually once a year in the spring. Works great!

It's a rare occasion for me to have time to wash my car properly, even more rare when that time also coincides with a rain-free forecast for at least the next couple of days. However, today was one of those days, feels good!

hadn't washed our cars after camping last weekend... they were horrid after being parked at the campsite... bugs, sap, dirt, spiderwebs, dust... brutal.

so I suggested I wash the cars and the kids/wife wanted to help! I got a couple buckets out, gave the kids the missions of wheels and got them all cleaned up! makes me feel better, plus I got to nail my kids with the hose... they found it hilarious.
i used to be addicted to soap, but i'm clean now

My new baby had its first bath this weekend.

Too many bird poop attacks plus dust and grime made the Crosstrek quite dirty.  So, Sunday it was off to the hand carwash.  Nice and shiny now.

Because I drove back to Germany on a weekday, traffic was light for the most part. The German A65 from Landau (near the French border) to the A61 is one of few rural stretches without roadworks. Running a tad late but with SP98 fuel in the tank, set cruise at 170 and steamed down the road nonstop for about 20km before the interchange with the A61.

So this is what operating a TGV must be like  :)

Yes but it is rather gratifying being able to cruise at distance at a higher-than-normal road speed without being hung up by roadworks, trucks, or other cars doing 120 in the left lane. Nothing to slow you down. That alone, is quite a rarity thesedays.

Just did a 200 km cruise in the miata after supper along the Noel Shore.Had to clean out some carbon.Perfect temperature not too hot.  Met a grey  BMW Z4 convertible going in the opposite direction on our journey from New Brunswick.  The front licence plate sure  ruins the look of that car.

The wife and I took a drive down the coast to St Andrews in the roadster this afternoon for a little over 200km round trip.  We just got home a few minutes ago.  Perfect weather for a top down drive.  :skid:

Just ordered 2 new tires  ;D

Unfortunately Bridgestone doesn't make the RE-11 in 245/45/16 anymore (which is what is currently on the rear of the 951), so I'm gonna swap the fronts onto the rears (they are 225/50/16, which was the stock size for the rears) and now the fronts will go back to the stock size of 205/55/16. So the car will have used rears that will last until the fall easily and new fronts... so next spring maybe I'll have to buy new rears, but I can still get them in 225/50/16 in the RE-11's  ;D
