Both vehicles got new wiper blades the other day, I picked up more of the cheap Michelin ones from Costco....so nice to have fresh blades during freezing rain, snow, etc.  These are so cheap I'll always replace them come November each year.

My wife is pushing to get me to sell the BMW for something more family friendly....she wants a minivan but doesn't want to give up her car.  Guess I will start looking at used Sienna/Odyssey soon.

Bought some fancy schamncy Bosch Icons and I don't see a difference between them and the usual Costco Michelins. Good value those Michelin's!

I have a set of Costco Michelins on my wife's Chevy Tracker and they work fine, but the Costco set I put on my F150 had a passenger side failure within a week.
I ended up splurging and replaced the Coscto wipers with a set of Bosch Icons.  Time will tell if they're worth the extra money.

Wow, thats weird.  I tried a set of icons for my f-150 last year and they only lasted two weeks.  The passenger side kept coming off so i chucked them after the third time.  Replaced them with michelins and they were fine.

Used the copious cargo capacity of the HL to take a large load of kid's clothes to Goodwill.  I learned that we basically kept every single article of clothing my daughter ever wore.  Some of it is pretty nice stuff (Patagonia winter clothes) and a lot of kid's Gap items.  I'm sure they're not the latest style now, but should be good for some folks.

Replaced the battery in the Civic. Ugh.

I did that in December, to a friends car while she was at work.  Had to do it in the parking lot.  Used battery was $25.  Removing the old battery was a bit out a pain.

I just replaced the TSX battery too. Civic batteries are tall and narrow so hard to fit a used one so when new.

I remember my brother mentioning that to me years ago.  So when I was looking for a used one.  I specifically asked if it would fit in a Honda Civic.  And they had one in stock, lucky for my friend.

Did you go to your local Honda dealer to register your battery?

From now on BMW batteries need to be registered as sense offenders  :o  :P

And from the closet they went into storage boxes in the basement.  We originally started keeping the clothes in case baby 2 came along, and then I think it just kept getting done.  Nothing past about age 10 - she wore them out after that age except one year where she grew close to 6" in a year.

Didn't do anything to my car, but used it to boost my buddies BMW.
Took a while, it's -30C this morning.

He's going to buy a battery, not sure if he has to register it.  ;D

Killed the battery by leaving interior lights on.  Started it with the Stanley booster pack last night to visit the grocery store.  Today, I'm heading to my brother's to put it on the battery charger.  Can't charge here as we have the outlets that cycle on/off.

The school board my wife works for does that with the plugs in the staff parking lots.  They're only on for 5 minutes per hour!  And then the teachers have to PAY for parking as "you get energized parking spaces."  What a scam.
