Wow that top lift must be hella strong for you to be able to flip the Jeep up like that to work on the shocks! I guess it's easier to replace them when the pressure down is taken off the suspension?

So, question about Bilsteins...is it worth replacing not shot yet factory shocks with those? I recall Northernridge (RIP

taken away so young due to political unrest) replaced his on his truck and IIRC he said they smoothed out the bumpy ride on washboard substantially. I avoid gravel like the plague...but I wonder sometimes it they'd simply make enough of an improvement on our awesome highways in general and also for towing (if that'd make any difference at all) and if it would be sooo worth it. Cost can't be that much...right?

They are fantastic, I would recommend them for any truck/4x4.

Coming out of the round-a-bout I left a Tesla in the dust without having to use full boost and with my engine light on. I thought they were faster than that.

They warp space/time, so it was faster...you just couldn't tell.

I had one of those, but the sedan version (ZTS?). Fully loaded though; Zetec, leather, sunroof, etc....Paid $100 for it in 2011 because it was overheating. Replaced the fan relay (freebie....I sent Mrs.Firm to the scrapyard to get it) and it ran great! It had about 130,000kms on it at the time. Sold for $3500 in a few hours in Kijiji.
Great driving cars, especially for their time. Sadly, very few have survived around here.
