When I was a kid, someone threw a penny out of the passenger side of the car at me...hit me dead on.  That facking hurt.  And that was when pennies were worth something.  (why throw away good money? Dummy)
Was a '69 Chevy Malibu, 2 door...green...black vinyl top...and people tell me I don't remember anything.  Hah!  :P

Isn't it amazing how you can actually see the rock coming. Almost in slo-motion.

Yep and every time I thank God I'm not taking the hit on a motorcycle

Yeah, even bees hurt like hell!

Watched a loonie sized rock come off a dump truck, bounce of the highway & hit me right in the chest when I was doing ~120 on my bike once... fack did it hurt!!!

You probably had proper gear on... I see guys in their short sleeve t-shirts going over 100km/h on 400-series highways. I wonder what will happen if they get hit with one of those.

I had my jacket on, but really it doesn't offer much chest protection... I had a decent little bruise  :rofl2:

Another time I was following a cube van (some kinda contractor) and his back roll-up door was up & I could see a pail full of tools & crap bouncing in the bed towards the open door. Got quickly outta that lane & got up beside the passenger & did some hand gestures about the door being opened... he somehow caught on & they quickly pulled over.

Changed oil on the vw.   Castrol synthetic.

Headlight bulb burnt out on one side so switched them out as well.

At 177k now.  Still great shape.

Changed the spark plugs on the Honda Nighthawk. $8 and about 2 minutes and it was done.  8)

Gave the Montero a well deserved bath this weekend and got the oil changed. Still surprises me at how many people drive into a carwash and with the car bone dry and covered in mud and grit, take the foam brush to it.....hurts my soul.
Lighten up Francis.....

Yes that hurts just watching it.I have a neighbour that cleans the snow off of his cadillac with a shovel.Doesn't matter to him I guess because he doesn't wash or wax it ever.

 :fall: :o :o

DUDE?!?!?!? A shovel, wtf, no matter how much I disliked my car, I would still not take a shovel to it. I've used a push broom to take most of the snow off and then used the snow brush closer to the paint. A shovel....for shame.

Yes a shovel. Not a spade but a push snow shovel though. I know it hurts like the chalkboard scenario . He is just not a car guy.  :-\
He is a great neighbour however.

I've used a shovel.

When it was like 2 feet on top of the car.   Just leave a buffer of snow.

Guess that depends if the vehicle has roof rails and/or shark fin antenna.

Don't you have a wash bay at work that you have access to? I'm thinking no excuses

The snow has been washing mine lately, with the Thule on now I can't get into any automatic car washes & the coin wash is just too much hassle.
