Rrockets car has air suspension, so probably some solenoid or programming would change ride heights

That's what I figured.  But when said he had to tackle getting back to oem height, wouldn't just be a matter of pressing a button?

Did my first oil change on the LS. The entire underside of the car has flat air deflection panels on it. Looked like I had to take everything off to get the filter. But in typical Lexus fashion, there was a nice flip down door for access. Filled up with Amsoil's best!

Next is the rear diff fluid.

And after that I'll be tackling putting the suspension back perfectly to factory ride height.

On a FWD car, the diff fluid is done at the same time when the transmission fluid is changed correct?

When you lowered the suspension before, how was this done?

The LS is RWD. But yea, on a FWD car it's as you describe.

To lower the suspension in the rear, you slide the ride height arm up or down in the bracket. See below.

To adjust the front, you lengthen or shorten the threaded sensor rod length. See below.

I see, more of a small mechanical adjustment.  Rather than an electrical adjustment.  Yeah I know the LS is RWD.  Not that bad!

Going on a road trip south next week, so put the 3-season tires on the Yukon today.

Pretty pleased with the Yukon's tires overall. The 3-seasons are at 7/32" after 80,000kms. I'll probably run them this summer, then replace them. Plenty of tread left, but the rubber is starting to look a little old.

And the winters are wearing well, too. Still have 12/32" left after four winters and 25,000 kms.

Isn't 12/32" the highest?  Pretty crazy.

I see, never really measure truck tires before.  I usually see around 10-11/32" new

Removed it from it's ice shell.....
I'd left it in the East end for the week while I was in a tester. Where I live in the West end we got some ice, but from the looks of it the ice was much worse on the east side of the city.

Luckily the temperature was just creeping above 0 and the ice was already starting to melt. A few strategic hits with the scraper and it all slid off.

The 6 was a like that for a couple of days, but not as bad.  I just let it thaw, oh natural.  Let the van run for 10 minutes on that day, so we had something to drive,  came off pretty easy after that.

^ That's what it was like here today.  I almost wiped out on the front deck taking the dog out first thing this morning.

Both cars nice and toasty and free of ice cage in the garage... ;)

I haven't driven my Mazda3 in two weeks, so I'm going for a drive tonight.

Brake hard to get rid of rust

But, first, accelerate hard.

Meh!  But your cars are newer, so you care what happens to them on the outside!

Tried to do the winter tire swap today but couldn't! I couldn't get the first wheel off.
Things I tried: kicked it, smacked the inner side with a 2x4 and lowered the car while the lug nuts were off. I wasn't ballsy enough to drive around the block with the lug nuts off...  :P

Argh. I have to go to my mechanic tomorrow to get 'em swapped. $20. I was gonna paint my calipers black too.  :'( >:(
