Had the new summer tires mounted and put them back on the 3er. A noticeable chunk more heft back in the steering...... :)
Also nice to have the rear end look normal now; without the staggered setup, the gap looks funny on the rear axle.

What tires did you get?

Did a 5 tire rotation on the Wrangler yesterday morning since it was dry & about +2 at the time, I had just over 5k kms on the new Duratrac's so figured it would be a good time.  Made my son's (10 & 12) help out & learn how to do it, they had a blast jacking it up with the floor jack, using the cordless impact driver and they learned a few things like to crisscross when tightening the bolts, how a torque wrench works...  ;D

+1 Good on ya for getting the kids to help out and teaching them a thing or two.

Awesome man!! Love getting the kids involved, I would much rather hear that a kid is into cars rather that he has levelled his troll to a level 32 on WoW. My buddies kid was so excited to help us, he had never used an impact gun. He asked me a ton of questions about the brakes and the unit bearings we replaced, he had a great time

Lighten up Francis.....

Installed replacement air flap underneath the 325i; old one was half-torn and dragging on the ground so I took it off and bought a replacement.

just realized my rear shock absorbers dead...   >:( :-\ :'(

spring's so stiff, it never does the typical rolly-polly thing, so i didn't k now it was dead..

today, while i was checking my rear shock mount, i raised the car and what do you know...  the shock is staying at lowered position.....  i'm now on the hunt for replacement rear shocks..

Driving thrills makes my wallet lighter.. and therefore makes me faster because i'm shedding weight... :D

Looks like OEM is Sachs for about $150 CDN.  OEM equivalent is Bilstein...About $75.

Which way you going to go?

Definitely felt like spring today, awesome weather. I spent most of the day outside; washed both Birds and did a good underhood check on them both, washed the week's tester (a Pathfinder) and replaced the rubber jamb bumpers on the Sonoma's tailgate. Even had time to rake up the front yard :)

Wish I could have worked on the car.  But spent half the day pouring concrete under the porch to prevent a damn skunk from living under the porch.

Sienna's windshield has been icing up on the inside this winter and wife complains that it smells, so I decided to poke around the HVAC yesterday.  Here's the cabin air filter I pulled out.

I guess it was one of those things I kept meaning to get around to doing, but didn't...for the past 12 years.   :-\

Not sure if that was the cause of the problems, but I'll run over to Walmart and try the furnace filter mod today.
