After that tire age discussion had a look at the Optimos on the Vibe, twelve years old:

Still looked great, but it's time for them to go. The winter tires will going into their 4th season, swapped them onto my summer rims and will run them as all weathers now. Costco did the job for $52.50 all in.

Might go to studded Hakka 10's for winter if we keep the car that long

The shop was talking about the price of tires, apparently there's been huge increases in some models. One guy said what he has on his own vehicle went up by $125/tire in June

Dropped it off at the dealer to have a leak checked. Gave me a ratty 14 Grand Cherokee as a loaner. This thing is sketchy to the nth power

I put the low bean CSP mini LED into my SW2, 0394 first picture
High beam still original halogen, 0395 second picture

Will test later this evening to see how they are and if need some fine tuning (internal rotation, allen key supplied).

Talk about it here

Edit :
First real long drive Sept 4th in dark area and I'm quite impressed with this low beam LED, a huge improvement over old technology!
Funny or bad should I say, how yellow and dull light pattern the the original halogen high beam compare to low beam LED.
"Need" to order high beam LED now.  :P

Looking great! What is your test scoring system, seeing how many oncoming cars would flash the high beams at ya?  ;D

Was starting to feel an odd occasional clunk in the steering wheel with the Ridgeline. After 11 years and nearly 200k kms I figured the front end may need some TLC. Took off the wheels and everything felt tight. I started to wonder if the bearing plates and/or the struts were giving up the ghost and I worried I was going to need $1000 worth of struts.  On a whim I figured I would start cheap and I splashed out $8 for some new sway bar bushings (Honda OE, in stock and cheaper than Rock Auto!). A bit of time and problem solved! I guess $16 is an ok expense after 200k kms.  ;D

Had an ‘03 pilot that had an annoying knock with certain movements shortly after we bought it in ‘05. Turned out to be the sway bar bushings also. I spent hours trying to diagnose but everything felt tight. Decided to go that route based on a forum and voila. Cheap fix.

Glad you got it figured.

Volt #4 has been granted of a ProClip mount, holder for Magsafe c/w converter 12V/ usb+usb-c, Apple Magsafe (usb-c wireless charger) + Magsafe case for my 13 mini to hold it in place: A tad expensive to my taste but it works well.

This was done last week.  I had the Corolla's windows tinted.

I have to thank VPS Winnipeg for the great job they did tinting the glass.  I stayed legal with 50% on the fronts, 35% on the remaining windows.

See them for paint protection film, window tint, and ceramic coatings. They are located at #3-70 South Landing Drive, parallel to McGillivary Blvd, in Winnipeg.

Realized today I've only put 1,500km on the BMW this season thus far.  And that's with making a concerted effort to drive it almost daily, between my wife and I.

Under a 40° humidex last weekend, I washed all 12 winter shoes for the daily drivers. Then we hit a max of 17° on Monday... Vehicles that are still with us for the coming winter will get their wheels waxed, perhaps even touched-up in the case of the Odyssey.
