I have this thing on the Vantage. The front plate's hidden away 100% of the time... I'm going on 6,000km with no hassle. The front bumper was never drilled on it before I bought it, and I do think the plate is a takeaway from the beautiful lines of the fascia.

Snowman had the Honda's front plate mount installed properly, so I've left it as is.

I have some holes in the bumper I can't think of a good way to fill. Maybe a custom novelty plate?

Just get some push in trim screws...they're usually black. Paint with touch up. Done.

Good idea!  I might do the same for the Z3M, although the holes in mine a tiny by comparison.  Those holes are huge...lol.

Car looks good AD and I like the colour!

^^ I'd do that instead of the plate.

I like the plate.....

That's fine for you.  I've lived in a province that has had  no front plate for such  a long time I can't bear anything hanging off of the front bumper.

Think of  a 20 Corvette with  a front plate on it. Ruins the look in my opinion.

Oh agreed. No plate is best. Just saying given the circumstances I kinda dig that funky plate.

Okay ,understood.

Took the 951 out for a little tour dropping off & picking up cigars. The turbo loves the cold dense air, but the rear tires aren't crazy about the cold pavement, ha, ha, ha!!

My car enjoyed last night's highway run from downtown to Carp Road to pick up fish n' chips.  It's been ages since it's had any kind of highway run.
I'd rather be car-poor than house-poor...

Gave the Escalade a good interior cleanup; mats, cargo liner, windows, wiped all the interior panels and treated the leather. Flipped the boy's seat to the forward facing position as well since his legs were getting too long for the rear facing.

Crappy pics cuz my better phone was in the house...

We took the Tundra out for a cruise yesterday, then I took it through the the wash and parked it.  I'll probably take the insurance off it for a couple of months.  With my wife off work, we're just not using it other than for pleasure because I 'feel' like driving it.  I'll reinsure it if camping season ever gets underway.  There is no point in paying $200/month for a vehicle that just sits in the driveway all week.

I still need to swap the all seasons over, but it doesn't need insurance for that.  I'm waiting for a nice warm day as I don't feel like doing it when it's 0c.

You are paying $200 a month in insurance   :o
Check on your loan payment , they may want you to have the truck fully insured

We'll put it on Lay-up insurance so it's covered against fire/theft/vandalism.

Yes, $200/month.  Public insurance. We have a lot of options like new-car coverage (full replacement value for the first 2 years), excess value coverage over $50k, $5mil liability, and a $200 deductible.

That being said, we have the most basic insurance on the car, with a $500 deductible, $1mil liability, and no other options, and it's still $130/month.  Insurance is expensive in this province.

GBA probably isn't on his mom's policy, so no discount for him.

Haha, good one.

8 merits, so I don't have the biggest discount, but still 25%.

And I think the truck is more around $180/month.  Still expensive.

WOW!!! I'm paying $96/month on the Passport now, but I'm $1M liability, $1000 deductible for at fault, $500 for comprehensive, accident forgiveness, new vehicle replacement, rental coverage, roadside assistance, hit & run, etc...

Even Bella who's a fairly new driver is at $101/month now on her 323i with full coverage.

And insurance in Ontario sucks balls as far as I'm concerned!! I was paying less than that a couple years ago, but then they jacked all the rates for everyone across the board... corksoakers!!!

It's done  :-[

Truck is on Layup.  It doesn't move from our driveway for at least a couple of months now.  Who knows, if camping season gets cancelled this year, it could stay on Lay-up until the fall.

This is insane. I'm paying about $953/year for the S2000 and $930/year for the Vantage. It works out to be even less since they're both parked for the winter.

The LS 430 was about $1,700/year, but it's now under a blanket "fleet" policy under a business.
