So this happened while we were packing up our campground this morning.  Luckily I had the right sized lugnut wrench to put the spare on before we left.  Looks like I'm buying a new tire.  The spare is brand new, so I'll replace the side that didn't bulge, and put that old tire as our spare.

It's a trailer tire.  They're all crap.

These ones were on the trailer when I bought it 3 years ago.  The seller said they were new from a year ago, so put them at 4 years old.  I've probably put 6000-7000kms on them since I've had them.

The lesson here is that I had a spare tire, and all the tools required to replace it.  And I did a walk-around the trailer before leaving and caught it before we hit the road, so it didn't blow out while we were driving home.

Crazy.  It does make you wonder how long it was like that though.

^  Yeah, looks great BW!
I still haven't got around to give my wife's car a good detail so far this year, but I bought
some of that Mequires quick detailer when it comes time for that.  I don't have the time or inclination to spend a whole day doing that car.  The roadster is easy peasy to wax so that will got a proper detail.  ;D

Bah, du veitst nuscht!! (sic - 'cause I said so) :bang: That white car in the garage is still sexy as hell.  Classic 3 box, but done to perfection.  More reliable than an FGC, just as easy to look at.  The truck...is a truck.  It's better than anything else that could sit in my garage save for a new one just like it.  ;D  Not counting 2500's of course...in which case it would have to be an F250 anyway.

PS - Poorboys Black Hole is amazing stuff.  It truly makes that car shine like a polished turd.

So this happened while we were packing up our campground this morning.

It's not like it weighs a lot...wouldn't regular H (or something) rated car tires work just fine too?

I have to go home to confirm the size, but 12" rims.  Can you even find 12" car tires anymore?

Not my car but did some engine and trunk detailing on a 1976 TR6. It was coated in undercoating that was applied when purchased. It is an original one owner car. The lady wants to sell it so we decided to clean it up a bit. 62,000 miles.
Took it for  a spin ,love the sound of that inline 6.

Hand washed the Aston and S2000 and cleaned the glass, wheels, top to bottom. First time they got a proper cleaning since I had them Ceramic Pro'd. It's a rare week that the Lexus is home too, so grabbed a photo of the three. Next up; need to polish the Lexus headlights, they're starting to get a bit hazy.

Meh, I prefer concrete, but it's better than the 3/4 clean limestone I have I guess.  No tracking bits of rock in the house after you've washed the car.

My car? Parked it.

Drove my daughter to her prom in a Fury Orange Mustang GT pressie I had hand-washed, active exhaust set on "track" and rev match turned on. She's not the limo type  ;)

Kids getting rides to the prom. The auto business is in serious trouble. She is supposed to be driven to the prom by some greaseball in a Camaro lol.

If my school days are any guide, that’s followed by driving home drunk, and probably at least one nasty accident.

It seemed like every year, some member of the grad class wrapped himself around a tree, sometimes with passengers.

On Tuesday I discovered how well AT tires and the Highlanders AWD work on a mud covered back road.

I was in the Bugaboos and the access road was slick fine mud on my drive out. Chasing a Taco TRD, I had no issues at all keeping up. The HL’s AWD system thrived as the surface was very “snow and ice like.”  Might have been a different story with standard all season tires but the AT tires were awesome.

I’ve drive the vehicle on similar roads but this one had a top-coat of fine mud that was unusual.

Hilarious was this cow blocking the way. Zero fcks given about cars going by!

I think the only thing limiting the Highlander is ground clearance.
