While not a new movie....I watched I Love You Philip Morris this morning. It's a true story.

Was pretty funny...kinda dark comedy.

Saw the new release "Mon Inconnue" last weekend. Pretty good, and some rather funny moments too where we all burst out in laughter.

Mary Queen of Scots (2018)

Bit of a yawn-fest, disappointing even with both strong lead actresses

Watched A Star is Born last night.  Some really terrific performances from Gaga and Cooper.  I did find myself wishing that movies were given Bawl warnings, though.  :rofl2:   I was crying my eyes out by the end.

No advance tickets with assigned seating?

A guy on my team is going to see it twice tonight.

I dunno - I guess not.

Why does he want to see it twice in one day?  ???

No idea. Some people are just obsessed I guess.

I used to enjoy the occasional super hero movie but I have zero interest in them these days.

Not sure why anybody would line up for hours to see a movie today considering most/all have automated ticket sales. Guess some theaters are still stuck in the dark ages.

From what I understand he has a ticket but not an assigned seat. He is a 15 so perhaps part of the "experience" of being first is lining up for hours on end.

Heard tickets were being sold for like $10k to some of the first screenings of the new Avengers movie......absolutely blows my mind that anyone that can afford $10k to blow on a movie doesn't have the smarts to get an android box.
Lighten up Francis.....

Won't argue that $10K is ridiculous (although the story is probably a big fish tale) but not sure what an android box has to do with a first day move release unless you enjoy watching cams from India with inferior quality.
