We watched 'The Death of Stalin' last night. Its kind of a dry comedy. While I appreciate the fact that the actors didn't try to put on horrible fake Russian accents, it was nevertheless completely unnerving to hear undisguised English accents come out of Stalin's mouth, as well as the rest of his inner circle.
Obviously language and accents was a deliberate choice by the movie's creators, but still, I found it a little jarring, perhaps because I'm used to the typical Hollywood garbage of poor accents (Sean Connery in Hunt for Red October, anyone?)
