Doesn't almost everything on Netflix have a high rating?

Not on Rottentomatoes.

My DVD for the movie Burn Out (2018, France) showed up in the post late last week, so got around to watching it this weekend.

http://www.allocine.fr/film/fichefilm_gen_cfilm=248764.html

Perhaps the storyline a bit predictable, but I can't say no to a motorcycle movie !
Please tell me you've watched Faster...
No....never heard of it.
Essential motorcycle documentary! He's actually made several motorcycle racing documentaries.

Faster (2003)
Faster & Faster (2004)
The Doctor, the Tornado and the Kentucky Kid (2006)
Charge, Zero Emissions/Maximum Speed (2011)
Fastest (2011)
Hitting The Apex (2015)

How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

I'm just a glass-mostly-empty kind of guy  :-\. That's what one gets when living alone I guess.

I'm usually not heavy on the motorsport movies, to be honest.

As I said many times, I really like "f-ed up movies".  These can be horror or just really intense, bizarre movies.  I keep wanting a movie to really scare me too....but it hasn't really happened yet.

However, I am hopeful with this one!!  I've read several articles about it...and it sounds very promising.

But I'll try not to get my hopes up...have been super disappointed before....way too many times before..

Last one was ‘Children of the Corn’ when I was 17.  Circumstances played a big role. Watched it at home late at night late in the summer of ‘87.  Two sides of my parents’ property border farmland...

We watched 'The Death of Stalin' last night.  Its kind of a dry comedy.  While I appreciate the fact that the actors didn't try to put on horrible fake Russian accents, it was nevertheless completely unnerving to hear undisguised English accents come out of Stalin's mouth, as well as the rest of his inner circle.

Obviously language and accents was a deliberate choice by the movie's creators, but still, I found it a little jarring, perhaps because I'm used to the typical Hollywood garbage of poor accents (Sean Connery in Hunt for Red October, anyone?)

I had fun watching Star Wars: Solo this week.  After being disappointed with The last Jedi it was good to see a fun adventure Star Wars.

Not sure this movie needed to be made.  It was like a check list of explaining Han's past that I don't think needed to be told.

And this movie intruded the most annoying character in Star Wars,  L3-37.  Even though I enjoyed this movie, anytime this druid was on screen it made me want to leave the theater.  Never had that happen to me before  :-\.

Not sure I would recommend Solo to anyone.  Disney Star Wars seems to be so hit and miss with their fans these days.  Maybe wait for it on Netflix and go see Jurassic World and/or Incredibles 2 instead.

Rogue One set the bar for me as the new best Star Wars ever made.  Everything else that comes after is already a disappointment inferior.  They'd really, really have to hit it out of the park to beat Rogue One.
