My Silver Wing was 551 lb wet but boy was that thing ever a fantastic highway cruiser. I'd grab another one.

Plus the weight is so low and the seat height is so low they feel lighter than some lighter (but taller) motorcycles.

yea, most of the weight of a scooter is about a foot off the ground.

another nice thing about the Yamaha XMax 300 is it's 397 lb wet weight...not much less powerful than the Burgman 400 but a decent amount less weight.

i'm just saying, scooters feel much lighter than their numbers show since the weight is so low...if you've ever ridden a Goldwing, you'd notice it too since that flat 6 is heavy but low to the ground...it's a VERY easy bike to ride, despite it's heavy weight would suggest.

My 575lb scooter felt lighter than the 450lb RF900 I owned for a short while. And my FZR750R too..which was about 500lbs if memory serves.

It took a little while to get to but once I did, I could turn on a dime. I love doing tight pivot right/left turns at intersections.

The headlight reminds me of my favourite Minion and the back end looks like it was designed by Sir Mix-a-Lot.  I honestly thought it was bordering on fugly the first time I saw it.  But it has grown on my like an aggressive creeping fungus.  I REALLY like it now. 2022 Yamaha XSR900.  Really good spec on the components overall and they seem to have exorcised most of the evil from the previous gen.

The front looks good, the bulbous back seat look awful. Bear in mind mine also had a luggage rack on it (and it's not an XSR), but the seat design was so much nicer.

Some people like banana seats (like yours). Some prefer the solo seat look (new one).

It should actually have a solo cowl color matched on the back part to make it look better.

Also....I sooooo want the bike in the back of the photo!! YZR500 GP bike!

I love that classic colour scheme -- reminds me of the RZ350 I desperately wanted when I was in high school.
