Out of those two I'd get the T7 and Dakar the out of it.My buddy Lawrence did a great video of one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuI9ha1XpfI
So I went into Sturgess to see a few Triumphs in person. They didn't have any of the two I am most interested in - Trident and Speed Twin. But it was good to see a few bikes in metal just the same - including the Rocket 3 - what a beast!Bad news on the whole taking the course / getting a license front, though. Lockdown has forced a shudown of about 6 weeks of classes. Now taking bookings for mid August - which wouldn't leave a lot of riding season remaining.

Can't you get a written learners at any time, and then ride (with certain restrictions)? It's been a while, but from what I remember I didn't get my full motorcycle license for some time

It doesn't look like it has rear brakes either.

Your Class 5 acts as a learners license as long as you have a Class 6 supervisor.
In Alberta you take the written Class 6 exam. Then you can ride with another full Class 6 supervising. Then Class 6 road test - after that you can ride alone.
