This one?  Hell yes - way retro cool colorway.

I had striped corduroy pants in that exact colour combo in the 70s.  I guess everything old is cool again.

So, you'll be cool again, Brig?   :run:

 :flowers:

Hell no.

I kind of want a Honda Grom as an inner city toy/runabout. I've seen a few with knobby tires on them and its a good look.
Me too!

But only if 5 friends had them.

And we'd go the other way...sticky tires for our own mini GP series!
Oohhhh, that would be a blast

I was very fortunate to have tried a 60cc supermoto on a go kart track. It was so much fun, the next day I called our local go kart track to see if they had a mini moto class.  No dice.

Been dreaming of it since.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Those Z900RSs are such a fantastic bike.  I wouldn't have it in the cafe scheme like that (let alone baby blue), but oh they're great.  So incredibly smooth running, beautifully finished, easy to ride, but ample performance when you want to get frisky too.  Outstanding machine.
yea, they are sweet...i'd get the SE version personally (if i were buying) as it would be more comfortable...still has that retro look, but with all the modern equipment.

Me too..  that green/yellow colour scheme is the same as the one we filmed in Japan in autumn '19.  I also really love the orange-and-rootbeer scheme.  :)

That's the one!  My g/f and borrowed that one and the green cafe style a few summers ago for a review:  https://canadamotoguide.com/2018/07/25/test-ride-2018-kawasaki-z900rs-cafe/

Good review.

Well when they released the 890R, there was a suspicion the 790 would be replaced by a "regular" 890.

Yeah, once you have a new engine, might as well put it in lots of bikes.

My BIL picked up one of those (FJR's) a month or so ago for $2500.  Ridden by a 5' woman.  Put $800 into it (fork seals and some other small stuff).  I'd be tempted to fly to NB to pick it up and ride it home if it wouldn't cost more to fly there than the bike would cost to buy.  Would be a fun ride back though.

I was just looking at the Kawis again for shits'n'giggles...always checking the insurance costs 'cause well, ya never know.  And MB's insane.
These two bikes are virtually the same...same power, same chassis (far as I've read/watched anyway)...only real difference being the handlebars, the wee fairing and one being called a "Cafe" model.

This one...$908 to insure for the year:

The Cafe model...$1505 because stupid.

^^ yup...insurance varies by province, but ON is just as stupid...what's even more silly is, if you live in the South (Alabama, Texas, etc), you'd pay about $200/year and could actually drive it year round.

You should really not be using US pricing as references, whether its for insurance or lease rates  :P
Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

it's just to show how much we get boned for it here...you can ride year round, in litigious happy USA for about 75% less than it costs to insure here...it's BS.

If it helps put things into perspective then, I believe my BIL said it cost him $300 to insure the FJR in NB, and it's just over $900 ($8 more than the brand new Kawi) here if I chose "pleasure" - so once a week I think I could take it to work (assuming I ever go back to the office) - and $1506 for All Purpose so I could ride it anywhere anytime.  And that's a bike that's almost 15 yrs old and worth a third of the new one.  I know, we're paying for the accident benefits...more than for the bike itself...still...it's a little crazy. We're not Ontario FFS (lot less people/traffic/bikes in general).  Or I could ride a newer 200 hp V-Max and pay the same or I think it was even less than either the Z900 or FJR13.  ;D
