Blackfoot does not have Royal Enfield I don't believe. I've only ever bought a pair of rain pants from them but they definitely had a high pressure sales vibe. CWC in Calgary does have RE (they seem to advertise bikes that have been long sold) but Edmonton dealers seem to be more competitive on pricing.

Old Motorcycle shop in Calgary is a neat place to visit.

CWC has a Justin Bieber special edition Vespa  :rofl2:

Not much in Lethbridge. Only dealt with Honda here. I dislike them.

CWC also have Aprilia, KTM and polaris/Victory I think.

Not sure if it's still the same, but Blackfoot used to be the worst for advertising a great price and then tacking on piles of extra fees

Yeah another Dealership AMVIC let do what ever they want.  I heard their service center is not the best either....  The I feel I get from them is "You should be lucky we let you look at our bikes so don't argue on our prices"    but they do have kind of a monopoly, almost.  I've been to Argyll in Edmonton few times,  it's a nice store.

Some big savings! Shame it always seems to be on things I don't want. Although I did miss out when they blew out a bunch of Motor Guzzi V7s for cheap years ago.

The BMW area was dead. Expensive and huge much like Harley. With that lineup is BMW giving up on bikes?

yeah I would stay clear of BMW bikes.  Horror stories on youtube on adventure bikes.  frames breaking, drive shafts breaking....not cheap.

FYI looks like some Trans Alp review are coming out

I listen to the Aussie reviews. Generally they align best for what I want.

Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

KTM is like the Honda of that bunch. It's a shame Honda mails it in so hard on the dirt side of things.

Put my name down yesterday for a 2024 Husky TE300 TBI...

A lot of work went into that. Looks very nice but they need to ditch the metal mulisha seat cover lol.   Always a few 500 frankenbikes floating around here, have toyed with making one a snowbike.

I've driven some Cr500. One of the only time I said " That is too much power!"

Too bad you never tried the KTM550.

The left side kick starter made it more interesting to start, too! LOL [emoji38]

I've tried a KTM 505 4 gears, same friend owned both.   We were climbing sand cliffs,  that thing was accelerating on the way up, blew my mind.   He also owned an ATK 406 2 stroke,  that thing shouldn't even exist.  :P

Seriously,  big bore 4 stroke KTM was the best bike I tried. I also driven a Factory racing YZF 250 bored to a 305 with amazing Kayaba suspension, the most agile bike I've driven.

Look at me know searching for Honda Monkeys and Burgmans on the internet.

I dunno...different tool, different mission.

I liked my scooters. Would rock a Monkey no problem!

I have a feeling I'd have almost as much fun on a Monkey as I would on a supermoto.

Of course you would. Speeds are lower. More fun to drive something slow fast than the other way around. Only place a monkey would not be enjoyable is if you found yourself on 80km/h+ city roads.

I bet they are fun, the whole Honda mini bike lineup looks fun.  I just don't see myself clearing big gaps on dirt bike in my 40s anymore.

40s? You have plenty of dirt bike time left son.   ;D Maybe hold off on the triples.

This is a very out of shape Ricky Carmichael shredding the farm. Mid 40s?
