Many bikes aren't too far apart from a roll. Even when I had the Supra I could out roll many open class sport bikes.

But they'd typically kill me from a dead stop.

Just as a Busa would run away and hide from the MV from a stop.

Can't wait until you (someday) try a Busa! You'll never forget it! LOL [emoji38]

They should've traded bikes...the one guy's like so much bigger and heavier than the other guy that right there will kill the 'busa in a roll.  When I was a young warthog...around 140 lbs and had my first V-Max, a friend's BIL had a Fazer 750...and I would WALK on him like he was riding a Vespa.  He must've been over or thereabouts 200 lbs.  Good 2" plus taller and chunky country boy.  So for funsies I swapped bikes with him so he could feel what a REAL fast bike felt like...and huh...if I was a bike behind him I'd be shocked.  The V-Max was barely faster than the Fazer.  The weight diff between Noob and Boob is great enough that on a roll a Speed Twin would probably give the Busa a run for its money.   :P

Check out the Yamaha RoadStar Warrior...might be more your cup of tea (since you like the V-max).

Still a cruiser..but with a bit more sport. Aluminum frame and swing arm, sport bike brakes,  upside down forks, cast wheels, etc

I know these aren't powerful by any stretch of the imagination, but I kinda like the looks of them and IIRC they get close to 100 mpg (3l/100).  Gotta love when the dealer is asking about $1000 less than what a brand spanking new one costs for one that's 3 yrs old with 22+k on it.  ::)
Plus the new one has more HP sauce and (whoa!!) 600 more revolutions per minute!! 

Honda NC750 ($8700) vs. private sale ($6500 - both 2019) with next to no km on it.


What it looks like outside.


Would also be a good starter bike if the wife ever decided she wanted to learn to ride.  Plus 100 mpg...fack...have to take a pi$$ before the tank's empty.  ;D

That custom Goldwing is super cool. 

I saw this pop up on the Driving.ca website and thought it was pretty cool.  Got to love any new company bringing jobs to Canada.  Sounds like a pretty impressive package, over 300kms of range, over 200hp/200lbs/ft torque, and same weight as a similar ICE motorcycle.  Should be super fast indeed.

I've got no personal experience with that bike, but a buddy of mine rides one and loves it.  Massive storage in that top bin disguised as a gas tank.  Kinda jealous of having some decent (any!) on-bike storage.
