My GTI is out by 7% on its stock wheels and tires. Has been since Day 1 when the tires were new.

All of modern bikes with digital speedometers read  9-10% high with stock tires. My Yamaha BWS and Vino 125 scooters with analogue speedometers were only 3% high while my Honda Silver Wing also with analogue gauges read 6% high.
