I think buying a new one this year would be foolish, but a well used one could be a fun foray into my first project-y bike. Do the dohickey, some suspension work.....I think it would be fun, cheap covid entertainment.

At $7500/7800 for a standard non-ABS/ABS model it’s fairly affordable. Still only a 5 speed gearbox but I can overlook that.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...I see now.  I thought we was going off on his nom!!  Triple...Bob...had a triple... :P  Got it! (now)  I didn't look at those other posts close enough (at all), I just assumed they were all about the new 660...not the 1200.  Well then...nevah mind me!
