(not sure how you have matte and metallic at the same time?)

The base color is matte....but has flecks of metallic in it.

How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Of course you have!

My BMW C650GT was matte bronze metallic LOL

(BMW doesn't call their paint "matte"...they call it "Frozen"...because BMW)

They've had Frozen white and silver on their cars, too. And orange IIRC.

Well, time to look at more bikes in the obsessing category...though I don't know that I have just one bike or just "a bike" in general...I like so many.  Like music, why limit yourself to one genre?

So...you're old
You're too fat (WFH = bad)
Your knees are shi#...
What do you get?
Coming in in the under $7000 category, we have 3 contenders...first up, a Kawi (no one calls it that dad! Yes son, everyone calls them that! BTW, no one says NOHS with their nose plugged either...it's "Nitrous" And OJ IS also the standard for OJ son...and PROLLY isn't a facking word!  >:()...phwoops!  Went off there...1st up, as I was saying:
For only $6799, in this corner, a 2012 Kawasaki Versys 1000
https://www.headingleysport.com/default.asp?page=xPreOwnedInventoryDetail&id=9147002&p=3&s=Year&d=D&fr=xPreOwnedInventory
I kinda like it

In the opposing corner, we have what could arguably be the worse choice, simply based on its roots.  But it is a whole $300 cheaper...(probably need that in the first 100 km for repairs anyway amIright?)
2011 Triumph Tiger 1050 SE ABS @ $6499
https://www.headingleysport.com/default.asp?page=xPreOwnedInventoryDetail&id=8948553&p=3&s=Year&d=D&fr=xPreOwnedInventory
Looks pretty nice though, too.

And in the middle, reffing the match, more of a cruiser slow bike.  One which probably won't try to kill you...or even make you think of attempting any high speed passes...but can carry some luggage just the same.  Big issue here is it's considerably older than the other 2, has more kms, and is dang near the same money.
A 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Nomad for $6499
https://www.headingleysport.com/default.asp?page=xPreOwnedInventoryDetail&id=9228010&p=3&s=Year&d=D&fr=xPreOwnedInventory

In the $9-10k category we've got these two.  One a svelt Jujitsu master, the other a bar room brawler with bad teeth...
The martial artist:
2019 Kawasaki Z900RS Cafe @ $9799 - nice bike, not as jumpy as an MT09, not as powerful as a CB1000 but needs less revs (apparently) to be fun in town.
Basically brand new.
https://www.headingleysport.com/default.asp?page=xPreOwnedInventoryDetail&id=6616896&p=1&s=Year&d=D&t=preowned&fr=xPreOwnedInventory

And the toothless redneck:
2014 Victory Motorcycles® High-Ball for $9499
https://www.headingleysport.com/default.asp?page=xPreOwnedInventoryDetail&id=8886740&p=2&s=Year&d=D&fr=xPreOwnedInventory

Yeah, that one might need some behind the scenes re-dressing.  It oddly looks like it's missing something, besides a good (re)style.

Well, at that point, just suck starting a shot gun seems a little more efficient. Beautiful bike though.

Choosing a car based on reliability is like choosing a wife based solely because she is punctual. There is more to it than that...

Yeah, that one might need some behind the scenes re-dressing.  It oddly looks like it's missing something, besides a good (re)style.

Those Z900RSs are such a fantastic bike.  I wouldn't have it in the cafe scheme like that (let alone baby blue), but oh they're great.  So incredibly smooth running, beautifully finished, easy to ride, but ample performance when you want to get frisky too.  Outstanding machine.

I sooooo wish this was a street bike

https://www.cycleworld.com/story/motorcycle-reviews/2021-ktm-450-smr-first-ride-review/

That looks like a lot of fun, way above my skill level.
You'd be surprised at how capable you'd be on this IMO. Because it's so easy to ride, it's also forgiving.

If would take you a couple laps to get comfy....but then you'd be laughing your butt off and doing little slides.

Supermoto is much like off road riding....tons of fun to be had riding at your skill level...whatever that may be.

yea, they are sweet...i'd get the SE version personally (if i were buying) as it would be more comfortable...still has that retro look, but with all the modern equipment.

Wurt the furt is that?!?!?!?

That's the KTM Super Duke 1290R. Aka "The Beast".

180HP, 105TQ, 420lbs.
Torque monster!
the HP and TQ numbers are solid, but it's the relatively light weight that makes it a beast.

I think not pulling a wheelie would be a much bigger concern. Probably go through 5 rear tires before you had to change the front one because of age.

if you disable the electronic nannies, yes it would...for days on end...however, to be fair, most bikes can do that...it's only harder with scooters (because of their lower HP) and big cruisers (because of their weight)...the Super Duke gives you big bike power power with scooter weight...so you had better hang on tight.
