Love the blue but talk about an infotainment system completely ruining the interior look.
I think that screen does retract unlike M-B screens

Wow. Audi is hell bent on ramming that high maintenance automatic transmission down our throats.
You mean the 8 spd slush box or one of the VAG DSG transmissions?
Sad but true that's the way of the near future in NA.
And what is wrong with maintenance anyway?  I don't see why a transmission should not be maintained nearly as often as an engine. The problem is that the public has been led to expect that a transmission can go on forever.

DSG transmission requires a oil change every 40k km and costs 350 ish bucks. A manual transmission by Audi is every 120-130k km and costs 120.  It also costs another 1800? to add.  So that's a lot more money for something I don't want. Sorry, now it's not an option.  Might as well buy an electric car.  Let's hope the i5 doesn't look like the i3.

My condolences, why not take the bus  :P

64k kms.   I agree it would be great if the euro cars which have manuals at home could be available here with manuals, even if it meant a factory order every time...but...the most of the other 399,999,999 people in North America want an automatic and the VAG DSG is one of the nicest clutchless transmissions around...pity they couldn't put a 8 speed version into my new car.
Mrs tpl now NEEDS an automatic so I have one as well.

Audi USA prices out the TDI, S3, and convertible.

http://www.leftlanenews.com/audi-prices-2015-s3-sedan-a3-cabriolet-a3-tdi-sedan.html

The convertible pricing when converted to Canadian, and using our Freight has close pricing to the VW EOS, I know very different car, but still interesting.  And the A3 TDI seems pretty close to the Golf Highline with the Multimedia Package option.

PS - aside from Porsche (Cayman please!) Audi is currently the only FGC brand from which I would buy a car -- if I were a richer man, I would probably be driving a TT instead of my C30...   :)

N/A for NA just as I suspected... :P. Not that I could go out and buy one, but I'm surprised that I've already seen two new AMG E63 Wagons already around here, so there must be a fairly good market for them and with the huge markup must be fairly lucrative for Merc.

I've seen a few E63 AMG wagons as well in the GTA, so it does appear as though there is a market. On the other hand there may be six cars around and we simply saw all of them :)

Still would be nice if Audi graced us with an RS6 wagon...
I love it when a plan comes together.

This is one of my favourite new car interiors at the moment (2016 TTS). No awful info screen in the centre stack allows for beautiful dash design. I think integrating the info display into the digital gauge pod is its natural home. There's not really even a centre stack at all, just the fantastic dash. I love the air vents and the small displays in their centre. I love the steering wheel, the pedals, the shifter, the console and the quilted seats. I must get in this car.

Yeah I rather like that for the overall cleanness of the looks. They have some good ideas going on there. Would also keep people from whining about the nav screen looking out of place ;D

I'll have to see how it looks in person but I worry that like touchscreens vs buttons its more form than function.
You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.

Yup. I quite like that layout. Very rational.

I've always been a fan of Audi interiors and they have really steeped it up again. People have a have time with the cost of German luxury cars but it is easy to see where the money goes into these cars. It is a warm and inviting place.

Those air vents are amazing -- they look like jet engines.
