I never really got lincoln in the last 10-15 years, at best they were upscale fords with dubious trim choices....I don't even want to remember the Mark LT what a stupid idea

There is no possible chance Ford can revive this brand.  Ford is starving the beast deploying a strategy that most stand alone Lincoln dealers (which is the business model in the USA) will voluntarily close up shop thus saving Ford vast sums in franchise reimbursements.

It's that hopeless.

Not to mention that the Ford versions were all better looking.

oh, but maybe they could bring back the blackwood!  best idea ever...

hell... plymouth had more pizazz than lincoln over the last couple of decades. and that isn't saying much. hell... so did saturn... wait... and pontiac...

lincoln should just make one car.. a big sedan... and it should just be a regular old chev, just badge it as a stand alone for all those old folks who want their lincoln.

I think the big problem with Lincoln is the vehicles look horribly...well horrible. But the cars/CUVs are actually pretty good. It's a big 'if' but if they could design nice looking vehicles that create interest I think they could give it a go.

Interesting theory.  Let's see how it plays out.
