News Item: All GO trains and UP Express impacted by network-wide CN system outage

Should be a fun commute.

I wonder if this is an act of a cyber attack...

A friend of mine took this photo (sorry to those of you who can't see it).   My wife and I were motorcycling on that point on the  middle-left

I'm in Charlotte NC and went to the grocery store and they have a bar in the booze section. Guess you never know when you want to sit down and have a drink.

Plus there are about 7 breweries within a 20 minute walk of where I'm staying.

Agree. I really like it here and since my sister lives here, I can visit as much as I like. This is my third trip this year and debating on coming down in the winter.

You didn't put enough money in the meter and got a ticket, get over it. You are not special because you kids play hockey. There are other options like using the app or buying a monthly pass.

Hockey parents 'frustrated' by parking tickets at Eddie Bush

Stanley says an ideal outcome would be if the town could give parking passes to parents with kids enrolled in minor hockey or other activities at the Eddie Bush.

“We pay our hockey dues. Most of us pay our taxes here. The parking lot is almost empty after 4 p.m. anyway,” he said.

It was a great game.  I'm sad the Bombers didn't win, but it was far more entertaining and nail biting than a blow-out.

Disappointed that the Bomber's could pull out the win in a nail biter of a game. In the end, Montreal's defense made the stop they needed to at the end of the 4th and the Bomber's D couldn't match.

If you told me in any year from 1991-2019 that the Bombers would be in 4 straight Grey Cups and win 2, I would've told you you're dreaming...

Look, as fun as the grey cup is, the real fun is during the regular season. If they can keep on piling on the wins at home, when we're actually at the games, then that's good for me.

Yeah, we don't have TSN, so I couldn't figure out even how to watch the game. Caught a bit with a youtube streamer (that one handed catch!) and after that it blacked out and I was listening to it like 1930's radio

Oddly it's way easier to watch the Superbowl

Neighbours across the street came home with a 2021 Caddy XT6 on the weekend.  He's a GM guy.  I asked what else they looked at.  He said Acadia and Traverse  :rofl2: . He said they lined up a Ford Explorer to test drive but got to the dealership and he just couldn't do it.  They even had it outside running for him.   ::)

I get where you are coming from, but playoff success and winning championships is what most sports fans care about the most. YMMV

So I bought myself this wooden gun puzzle:

https://www.rokronline.com/collections/justice-guard-wooden-gun-model/products/rokr-thompson-submachine-gun-toy-3d-wooden-puzzle-lqb01?spm=..collection_40dab553-dab8-4f1e-98c3-3f539cc4cab1.collection_detail_1.2&spm_prev=..index.header_1.1

Mostly as a prank, because the guy in the office across from me often starts elastic band wars, and well, I wanted something that could shoot 12 elastic bands in a second.  It was used to glorious effect this morning, lol.

Anyway, I had a great time building it, and I was very impressed with the quality.  ALL the pieces were perfectly laser cut, and the engineering that goes into making all the mechanisms move is neat.

It, or anything else from their website, I highly recommend.

They're playing games with their pricing, though.  It was $62 when I bought it a month ago.  Now, for 'Black Friday', they've increased the price to $95.77, and marked it down to $68.40 'on sale'.

I ordered Nov 7, and it arrived yesterday, so three weeks to deliver?
